The walt disney company has made some of the greatest animated movies of all time. However as a mega mesozoic fan i was left unimpressed by their entry in the saurian mythos. So tonight i'm going to try and rewrite Disney's 2000's film dinosaur. ( s...
we start with aladar in darkness looking up at the moon. We then focus on the moon panning down revealing a whole group of troodon also looking up at it in a forest in north america.
yar; " hey champ its me. I just want to say im sorry about what i have done to you. I have been a pretty bad grandpa "
aladar; " yar its not your fault "
yar; " now please dont blame this on plio or zini either "
aladar; " no its my fault "
yar; " what are you talking about "
aladar; " i dont belong here i had a home in madagascar. But even then i never quite fit in. My true home is somewhere else. "
neera; " but what about here? are you not here with your own kind? "
aladar; " my own kind? sure on a surface level but you said it yourself. " im no velociraptor, feathers are all the wrong colors. Skull is different claws are far to short etc " i beleive those were your exact words "
neera seems taken aback. Aladar looks at his own reflection in a puddle.
aladar; " im not a mammal not any dinosaur here. I am nobody "
the troodon claws at the puddle splashing it against the wall.
naelyn; " wow go ahead and make us all dying here in this cave about yourself why dont you "
yar shoulders her.
neera; " hey look. You cant go back to what was. And that IS devestating. But even though times are hard you can make new memories. Maybe not better memories but good ones "
aladar looks at her for a while and then smiles. Meanwhile we see naelyn and yar helping brutton.
yar; " this plant grew on our island, it will make you feel better "
naelyn rubs at the sinoceratops's hide. He growls but accepts it overtime.
brutton turns to yar.
brutton; " why is he doing this? pushing them on with false hope? "
yar; " well i think hope has gotten a lot of them this far "
brutton; " but why doesnt he let them accept their fate? i have accepted mine "
yar; " and what fate is that? "
brutton; " to die here. Its the way things are "
yar; " well im not to sure about that.But I argue its your choice not your fate "
brutton looks at him in curosity.
yar; " im going to look for zini and plio please look after brutton "
he scurries outside the waterfall and leaves.
we cut to kron leading the herd through the gorge he briefly looks back clearly missing his sister but decides to keep moving forward.
the dinosaurs sleep in the cave but then loud footsteps are heard. They wake up and see the silhouette of a tyranosaurus rex through the waterfall.

we cut to behind the falls and we see the two tyranosaurus. One of them smells the blood on the ground left by brutton whilst the other turns to the waterfall and looks directly inside. And starts sniffing the air. Before roaring in fustration.
the roar wakes up the sleeping dinosaurs who see the tyranosaurus silhouette and back into the wall earl backs to the wall and the pssitacosaurus puts his foot on a stone which slips under his weight and he falls to the ground yelping as the stone bounces outside the waterfall. The rexs look at the stone before heading inside the cave.
we see the jaws of the male tyranosaurus sticking out from the waterfall and he steps inside. The cave. The female also comes inside. Before looking directly at aladar she charges mouth open. The male heads for naelyn and eema. Before suddenly brutton stabs the female tyranosaurus in the chest ramming her into the wall. The ceiling collapses on the main characters as they escape. Trapped in the cave like rats.
meanwhile we see on the other side of the stones it begins to shake krons body comes out of the rubble before the male tyranosaurus rex throws it aside. He stomps forward towards the waterfall seeing his mate is dead and roaring in ferocity.
