Greg: "So, I had the greatest idea. Yeah, I know I've been saying I'm gonna invent a time machine for the longest, but now I'm serious. I'm gonna get Rowley to help me with this invention. I just hope I can do it without Mom and Dad finding out. 'Cause, let's be real, they wouldn't approve of it."
Greg: "I head over to Rowley's house and knock on the door."
Rowley: opens door "Hey, Greg! What's up?"
Greg: "Hey, Rowley, I had the best idea—an invention!"
Rowley: "What kind of invention?"
Greg: "What if we invent a time machine?"
Rowley: "A time machine? How will we do that?"
Greg: "It's easy! We just grab all the tools we need and... bam! Time machine."
Rowley: "And why do you want to invent a time machine?"
Greg: "To get out of this pandemic—or at least to stop it."
Rowley: "Wait. So, Greg, you want to vanish out of this year, go into the past, and try to stop the pandemic from happening? I mean... isn't it kind of like... it was planned to happen? So I don't think we can stop it, Greg."
Greg: "Are you sure, Rowley?"
Rowley: "Yeah, Greg, that seems a little... impossible."
Greg: "Okay, okay. What if we just use the time machine to go into the past and hang out—no stopping anything, just to get away from this whole mess?"
Rowley: "Sounds like a deal! We can go to the past, chill with some old-school vibes, and forget about the pandemic for a while."
