Mom had us all masked up—Dad, Rodrick, everyone. It was annoying, like we couldn't even breathe properly. But whatever, if it helps us get out of this mess sooner, I guess it's worth it?

So, I head over to Rowley's, mask and all. I knock on his door, and his dad opens up, giving me this intense stare like he's a hawk on caffeine.

"Greg?" he grunts.

"I'm here for Rowley," I say.

"Alright, come on in," he grumbles.

Rowley's in his room, gaming away.

"Oh hey, Greg," he says, barely looking up.

"Hey, Rowley," I reply.

"I gotta tell you something," I say, keeping it serious.

"What is it, Greg?" he asks.

"I've got the virus," I say flatly.

"Wait, what?!" he freaks out.

"Yeah, so stay away from me," I say, trying to keep a straight face.

"Haha, gotcha!" I burst out laughing. "It's just a prank, Rowley! You've been bamboozled!"

But Rowley's not laughing. "This isn't funny, Greg. I'm telling my parents."

"It was just a joke, Rowley," I try to explain.

"Greg, go home!" Rowley's dad interrupts. "We don't want you infecting our son."

"It was just a prank, sir," I plead.

"Yeah, yeah, pranks," he grumbles.

So there I was, kicked out of Rowley's house all because of a little joke. I just wanted to have some fun, but Rowley took it way too seriously.

Seriously, way too seriously. LOL.
