"Ladies and Gentlemen, please give a big round of applause for...Rachel, AJ, David, Ashten, Ross, and Skylar!" our boss yelled. Everyone started to cheer as he walked over to us. He smiled before he walked out of the dressing room.
We all walked onto the stage. I grabbed the electric guitar and made sure the speaker was on before I turned to face the other singers. Ross started to count down before I started to play with David since he was playing the bass guitar. We started to play 'Made you Miss me' by Maddie Poppe.
Rachel did the lead singing. AJ and I did the background singing. Ashten played the drums for the ground. I scanned the room as we played. That's when my eyes landed on my dad. He is sitting there with my siblings. All of them looking at the stage. Dad smiled as he saw that I found him. I smiled back at him.
Once the song was done, I looked at the group and got ready to play the next one. I put the guitar down. Everyone got up into a line. Music started to come from the speakers. I smiled as David started to sing. While he saw, we all danced to the song that was playing. 'The Git Up' was playing.
While David was singing and while we all were dancing. We had a few people get up and start dancing along with us making me smile. Once the song was done, I grabbed my guitar. I looked at the crowd before I got ready to play again.
AJ started to sing 'Smoke in the water' by Sabrina Carpenter. I got ready to play some guitar since there weren't too many background instruments in this song.
My eyes scanned the audience. That's when my eyes landed on one person. I could tell right there and then, that he was my mate. He smiled at me the second that he realized that I was looking at him.

I looked away from him when the song was done. I looked at him again before I took a breath. I looked at Ross to see that he was getting ready to sing. I looked down at the guitar before looking back at him. Ashten started to play the drums signaling that the song started. I started to play when it was my turn to join in.
I couldn't help nodding my head along with the beat of the drums. I smiled as Ross started to sing. He's singing 'Outlaws and Outsiders' by Cory Marks. I looked at Ashten to see that he was nodding his head. I smiled at him before I looked back at everyone that was watching us.
When the song was done, I put the electric guitar down. I picked up the normal guitar before nodding at Ashten and David. Then nodded. Ashten got ready to play. I smiled as I started to play. I looked over at my brother and sister as I started to sing. I'm singing 'Hey Brother' by Avicii. Everyone on stage did the background singing. Rachel and AJ started to clap when it was apart of the song.
I looked back at Ashten before I looked to see my family smiling at me. I smiled back at them before I kept on singing.
Once the song was done, I looked over to see Grace and Luke standing on their feet. I smiled as they started to yell and clap as loud as they could. I walked back over to my spot. I blushed as I got ready for the next song. This one is me, Ashten, David, and Rachel. I walked up to Rachel. Just like David and Ashten said. I took a breath before I started to play.
(She sang the alto part while playing the guitar.)
*Third person*
While Skylar, Ashten, David, and Rachel were singing Remember me, Skylar was focused on looking at her family. By doing that, she had no clue that all her mates were staring at her. Surprised by her amazing singing voice.
All of them have been waiting to meet her for so long that seeing her now was the best thing that has happened in all their lives. When they saw her smile, it made them smile. Sure they are confused about who she's looking at, but just seeing her with a big smile on her face makes them smile.
Damon Salvatore is happy to see his mate. After he fell in love with Katherine, he wasn't sure if he was ever going to meet his mate. But he knew that he wasn't going to love anyone until he met her. Now here she is. Standing in front of him, singing and playing the guitar. He couldn't help smile at her.
Like most of her mates, they waited for her so long and they can not believe that she's right here. In the same room with them.
*Sky's View* *Time Skip to after her shift*
I grabbed my backpack and threw it onto my back. "Alright, good job guys. I say that was a good Monday. See you all tomorrow." the boss said. I smiled at him before I walked out of the back room. I walked out of the bar and grill. I looked to my left to see a group of people standing there. The second one of them looked at me, I realized that they are my mates.
I started to walk backways. I turned around and started to walk to my apartment which is at least five or so blocks. I had taken a few steps only to be stopped by Rachel. "Hey, Skylar!" she yelled making me stop in my place. I turned around and looked at her. "Yeah!" I yelled back at her.
"Do you need a ride home?" She asked. "Yes, please," I said. She smiled as I walked over to her. "Thanks," I said. I smiled as the two of us went to her truck that was just parked on the other side of the road.
She opened the passenger door only for the two of us to see that the passenger seat and the backseat are covered in junk. "Shit, I thought that was clear," she said. I made sure there were no cars coming before I backed up.
"How do you feel about someone riding in the truck bed?" I asked, making her look at me. "If you are okay with it. Hit the side of the truck letting me know that you are ready for me to drive." She said. I nodded and walked to the truck bed. I climbed in and sat down. One arm hanging off the side of the truck and the other one touching the gate.
Once she climbed in and turned the engine on, I hit the side of the truck three times. She gave me a thumbs-up before she drove away. I smiled as I took a breath of the fresh air. I put my head on the side of the truck before I felt the truck coming to a slow stop. I sat up straight to see that we pulled up to the apartment building.
I smiled as she parked the car. I stood up and jumped out of the truck bed. I landed on my feet and moved into the window. I waved at Rachel before I walked to the front door. I walked up to the main door of the apartment before I walked into the building.
