"Carter, your shift is up. You don't have to work anymore. You already pick up the slack around here." My boss said as I handed someone their coffee. I nodded my head as I walked to the back room. I opened up my locker and took the apron that I have on, off. I put it on its rightful hook before I grabbed my backpack.

I pull it out of my locker. I put it on my back. I made sure that the door was closed before I walked to the main part of the cafe. "Bye," I said. "Bye," he said as I walked to the main part of the cafe. I walked out of the cafe and started to make my way to the school that Grace and Luke go to.

I looked up at the sky. The bright blue sky. There are clouds that cover parts of the sky. Of course, me being me, I ran into someone because I wasn't watching where I was going.

"I'm so sorry," I said as I looked at who I ran into. Surprise, surprise, it was one of my mates. "No problem. I'm Edward Cullen." the person that I ran into said. "Jacob." "Rosalie." "Alice." "Jasper." "Emmett." They all introduced. I smiled at them all. "Nice to meet you guys. I'm Skylar and again, I'm sorry for running into you. Apparently, I do that a lot since I did it twice today." I said, making them all smile.

"Well, it was nice to meet you all, but I have two annoying little siblings to pick up," I said as I started to walk to the school. "Well, if it's okay. Can we come with, I mean your siblings sound meet some of your mates?" Rosalie asked as everyone caught up with me.

"Sure, I don't mind," I said, making her smile. When we got to the school, I stopped and scanned the crowd.

The school had let out a little while ago, kids are all over the place wither waiting for their parents or standing by their parents. A smile spread on my face when I saw my two siblings looking for our dad in the crowd of people. I whistled as loud as I could, making them look at me. "Skylar!" they yelled as they ran.

They weaved in and out of the crowd before they ran right into me. Making me tumble a little. I chuckled as they hugged me.

"Well, hello to you too," I said. They let go of me and looked at my mates. "Hi, you guys must be Skylar's siblings. I'm Rosalie." "Edward." "Jacob." "Alice." "Jasper." "Emmett." They all said. "Nice to meet you all. I'm Grace and this is my twice brother Luke." Grace said. "Well, it's nice to meet you too," Alice said with a smile on her face.

"So, Skylar. Are you here to bring us home or are you going to stay with us?" Luke asked me. I looked at him. "Well, what do you think?" I asked as I put my hands into my pockets. "You are staying here with us," Grace said like a question.

I smiled at her. "Yup," I said popping the p. She smiled and hugged me again. I chuckled at her behavior. "Well, if it's okay for you guys, we would like to walk you guys home. To make sure that you three will be safe." Edward said making me look over at him.

"I'm okay with that," Luke said making me look over at him. "What, it will be cool to be able to know your mates. You may be older than me, but I'm in charge." Luke added. "Good luck with that," I said a big smile on my face.

He huffed as he looked at my mates than at me. "But I'm the man of the house," he said. "Sorry, I spoil it for you bud, but dad is the man of the house," I said.

"Oh, nuts." He said. I laughed at him. "Well, come on. I'm guessing that you guys have homework." I said once I was done laughing. "No, we don't," Grace said, her voice going higher. I smirked at her. "Don't lie," I said.

"Fine...we have homework," she said once she knew that I had caught her. I smiled at her. "Well, then we better get home so you both can do your homework," I said.

Luke let out a little huff before we all started to walk to the apartment. "So, what did you guys do today?" I asked as we made our way home. "Well, Luke got hit in the head with a dodgeball," Grace said. "Grace," Luke said.

"Who did it? Was it the same person that is bullying you?" I asked. "It was a game of dodgeball, that's when the game is. Dodging a ball, of course, I'm not that athletic. So if you put the two together, then, of course, I would always be hit with a dodgeball." Luke said. I gave him a weird look before nodding my head.

Of course, that was a good answer, but I still think that the kid that is bullying him did it. I didn't pay any mind to it. My mind went from my brother to a car that honked right by us. The second the car's horn went off, I turned to look at the car.

After I realized what happened, I looked ahead to see the apartment building in front of me. I pulled the keys out of my pocket.

When we got to the apartment building, I tapped on Luke's shoulder. He turned around and looked at me. "Take these and head up to the apartment. You better be working on your homework when I get up there." I said as I handed them to him.

"And if we don't." He said as he reached out for the keys. I pulled them away from his hand. "Then I will not make your favorite," I said.

He gasped. "You wouldn't dare." He said. I smiled. "Try me," I said as I gave him the keys. He grabbed them before Luke and Grace ran into the building. "Well, they seem amazing," Jacob said. I turned and looked at them.

"At times. Just wait until you see them without food or in a very and I mean very bad mood." I said. "Not sure if I've seen worse then them." I added. They all smiled at me.

"Well, I'm sure they are dolls." Rosalie said. "Oh, yeah definitely." I said with my voice laced in scarsam, making Emmett smile. "Well, I would stay here longer, but if those little ones aren't doing their homework I can grantee that they are eating too much sugar. So, I better go." I said.

My mates nodded their heads. "Well, it was nice meeting you. See you around." Alice said before they all started to walk away from me. I smiled and walked into the building. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face as I walked into the apartment. I closed the door behind me and I was right. Luke and Grace ran out of the kitchen and to the living room where their backpacks where.

I shook my head as I walked to my room. I grabbed my sketchbook and a pencil. I walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. I crossed my legs and put my sketchbook in my lap. I opened it and started to draw, while making sure that Luke and Grace was working on their homework.
