I grabbed a book from the shelf and looked at the back. Reading the summary to make sure that it will be nine-year-old safe. Once I found that the book that I was in my hand, wasn't safe for my little sister...I put it back on the shelf.

"Would you like some help?" Someone asked, making me look at the person that was talking to me. "Scott Summer, nice to meet you, Skylar," he said with a smile on his face. "Let me guess, one of my mates," I said. He nodded his head. "Yeah, you guessed right." He said. "Scott." Someone said a little loud, making me turn to face who just spoke.

"Holy shit

"Holy shit." the man said, making me look at him weirdly. "Skylar, that's Logan. Also one of your mates." Scott said, making me look over my shoulder at him. I then looked back at the man in front of me. "Nice to meet you, Skylar. Sure, I might seem weird at the moment, I just can't believe that you are in front of me," he said. "Likewise," I said.

"Well, there you two are. I thought you fuckers left without me." Another voice said. I looked to see a man walking toward us. His face is hidden by a hood that is covering his head. "Oh, hello. I didn't realize that you were here. Hi, I'm Wade Wilson." The hooded man said. "You too, why do you cover your face?" I asked as I tilted my head. "I mean you are my mate after all. How am I supposed to know who you are without being able to see your face?" I asked.

"Sure you already accepted me, but if I allow you to see my face then I can guarantee that you will turn me away," Wade said, making me title my head again. "Why would I do that? I mean, sure you might look different, but I was raised not to treat people differently just because of their looks or the number of mates or if they are different in any way." I said.

Wade looked at Scott and Logan. They both shrugged their shoulders. I looked at Wade in confusion. He slowly pulled the hood of his jacket down, showing his face to me.

I didn't even react

I didn't even react. I didn't move, I didn't scream, I didn't even look away. I only looked at him. "Why aren't you looking away?" He asked. "Your face may be covered in scars...but all I see is my mate. I don't see the scars as anything that I should look away from." I said, making him smile. "I did just say that I don't care what you look like," I added.

I smiled at him before I looked at the shelves. "So, am I ask what you are looking for? Maybe we can help. Well, maybe me more than Logan and Wade." Scott said. "Hey," Wade said. "That hurt. Right here." Wade said. I looked over at him to see that he put his hand over his heart. I smiled at him before I looked back at the shelf.

"Well, if you must now. I am looking for a few books for my nine-year-old sister. Before you say anything. Yes, I know that I'm looking somewhere that books for her shouldn't be. But, if you do think that, then you obviously haven't met my sister." I said as I looked over at Scott with a smile on my face.

"What should we know about your sister then?" Logan asked. "Well, the only reason she likes the type of books that she reads, it's because she stole mine and loved them," I said as my eye caught one of the titles and by the looks of it, it is written by the same person that wrote the books that Grace likes.

"And let's just say. She still has the ones that she took. Propably because she liked them so much." I said with a big smile on my face. I grabbed the one that caught my eye and read the back of it. I looked back at the shelf and kept on looking at the many books that are in front of me.

===============================================

I am now holding two books. Both by the same author that Grace read last time. 'You will be mine' and 'The cellar' both by Natasha Preston. I walked up to the counter. I put the books on the counter and pulled the credit card out of my pocket. "Would you like these in a bag?" the guy behind the counter asked as he rang them up.

"No thank you." I said. He nodded his head as he told me the total. I gave him the car. He grabbed it and swiped it in the machine. Once the card was accepted, he handed it back to me. I grabbed it and put it into my pocket. "Would you like a receipt?" he asked.

"No....thank you." I answered as I grabbed the two books. I smiled at the man before I walked out of the store, my mates following behind me. The seoncd I got out of the store I stopped and took one of the backpack straps off my shoulder and I tried to open up my backpack.

But with one hand holding the books that I just got, I couldn't open it. "Here, let me help you." Logan said. He grabbed the books from me. I looked at him for a little bit before I opened my backpack. I then grabbed the books from him. I carefully put them in the bag before zipping it back up. "Well, it was nice meeting you Skylar, but it's time to for us to go." Logan said once I put the strap back on my shoulder.

"Nice to meet you guys too...see you around I guess." I said. They all smiled at me before they all walked away from me. I took a breath before I walked in the opposite direction. I took a breath as my eyes landed on a Walmart. I sighed as I walked inside.
