This place seems nice enough. Actually, it's super nice. Who knew that an office building could become this cozy? At least I know that Tsuki was safe here. It's great that the weather has finally cleared up. I thought the rain would never stop.

"Hey, guys." I spin around at the sound of the familiar voice. There he is! My Tsuki! And he's just fine! Well, his hair is black now, but other than that, he's the same as I last saw him. What a relief!

"Tsuki!" I run over and embrace him.

"I missed you!" he exclaims, hugging me back. It's only been about a week, but it feels a lot longer.

"Are you guys ready to go?" Abel asks us.

"I said goodbye to everyone, so it's all good," Tsuki affirms.

"We'll head back to our motel before leaving so we can get a bite to eat. We've got to make up for lost time, after all," Abel explains.

Abel met with Tsuki just a day ago, and they talked about a lot of stuff, apparently. Abel seemed a little down after coming back, though. There's no doubt that they talked about something important, and probably personal. Abel said that he couldn't tell me and that Tsuki would tell me on his own. I guess that's how it should be.

"I could go for something," Tsuki comments.

"Alright, let's head out," Abel begins to move towards the exit.

From my window, I watch Tsuki and his friends go to their car and disappear down the street. At least it's nice out today, so wherever they're headed it should be a pleasant trip. Just as soon as he arrived, he's gone.

"Are you okay?" Imani, who was standing behind me the entire time, asks.

"Huh? Oh, uh, yeah, I guess," I lie.

"So he was the one that inspired you to leave?" She speculates.

"You're sharp," I give an empty grin.

"There's no use hiding the fact that you're upset." Again, some of that classic Imani intuition. She can read me like a book. "Go on, tell me how you're feeling."

"I always thought that if I was gonna meet him again, we'd actually get to have a normal relationship, y'know?" I start. "We could talk and hang out without him having to leave suddenly, or me having to go back home to my parents. But... I guess we're just not meant to be friends."

"You thought you weren't going to meet him again, but you did, even if it was just for a short little while," she muses. "I'd wager that you two will cross paths again."
"He said he was going north. People who say they're going north never come back, and that's just how it is." I huff. "I don't blame him."

"All I'm saying is to keep an open mind," she rests her hand on my shoulder before leaving.

"All I have to do is change this entire goddamn country," I say under my breath. "I hope this revolution's legit..."

"I'll go out and get our food," Abel informs us.

I guess it's nice to relax for a few minutes before heading out on the road. I sit down on the sofa and mindlessly watch whatever is on the screen. Geez, that Richard King is in everything these days.
