A fairly middle aged woman was walking through a village carrying a wooden bucket under her arms. She was wearing medieval clothing and her long reddish-brown hair were open and flowing lightly with the wind. It'd been few months she had birthed a boy with blue eyes. Her husband had named him 'Niklaus'. As she was walking through the village with people doing their everyday chores, she was smiling lost in thought. She suddenly heard her name being called, "Esther!? Esther!?"

She turned around to find a woman running towards her. When she reached Esther, she was out of breath. Esther laughed and said, "Take a breath, Ayanna!"

Ayanna took some deep breaths and looked up at Esther whispering, "Esther, I have learned a new spell. I want to teach it to you. Come on." With that she grabbed Esther's hand who had put her bucket on the ground.

Ayanna dragged her to her house and began showing her the spell, "This spell will allow you to summon a god... to have his child."

Esther looked wide eyed at her and asked, "Why do you want me to learn this spell?"

Ayanna looked at her with blank expression and replied, "I just wanted you to know." She taught Esther that spell and handed her the parchment containing the spell. Esther left her house after that.

Later that night, Mikael was on his usual hunts. Esther decided to try the spell Ayanna had taught her. She wanted to check if it would work or not. She was nervous as she performed the spell. She summoned the Greek god of the seas. After performing the spell, Esther looked around to see no one was the. She scoffed, 'Ayanna must be playing jokes on her.'

Just as she was about to get up from the ground, She heard a faint wooshing sound and a scent of the sea. She looked up to see a man with beard and striking green eyes. She stupidly asked, "Who are you?"

He looked amused and replied, "I am Poseidon, god of the seas, earthquakes and horses. I believe you summoned me."

She looked at him as her eyes widened and she muttered, "I thought it wouldn't work."

After nine months, Esther gave birth to a beautiful boy. Mikael was standing by her side as she was holding the boy in her arms. He was looking at the boy with kind eyes as he asked his wife, "What should we name him, Esther?"

Esther remembered the conversation she had with Poseidon and the name he had suggested if it was a boy. She looked up at Mikael with a smile but some sadness in her eyes for being unfaithful to her husband and replied, "Perseus Mikaelson."

Mikael looked surprised at the name but smiled and said, "Perseus Mikaelson. I like it."

Later that evening, when Esther was alone in her quarters she smelled the familiar scent of the sea. She looked up to see the sea god standing there. She glared at him and said, "What are you doing here, Poseidon?"
