[Somewhere outside Mystic Falls]

Perseus knew he had to find a replacement vampire as soon as he can. He was walking around some unknown street to calm himself. He knew nothing more to expect from Klaus. No one other than our family knew about the pain of being an orphan yet Klaus was ready to sacrifice the doppelganger's family. He was lost in his thoughts walking angrily when he heard a scream. He stopped in his tracks and focused his hearing on the source of sound.

It was nearly night time as he heard a feminine voice sobbing, "P... Please, let me go."

He sped towards the voice hoping to find a person to turn into vampire. He quickly comes to stop at the gate of a house from which the noise was coming. He kicked open the door after he heard a male voice saying, "Give me all your money and jewelry or I'll kill you."

The door flung open to reveal an elderly woman with her hands up in the air and a man with a gun pointing at her. The man was looking at Perseus wide eyed and was about to turn his gun towards him but before he could do it, Perseus sped towards him grabbing him by the throat with his right hand while pulled the gun from his hand with other one. He looked into the man's eyes and compelled him, "Do you have any family or loved one?"

The man's eyes dilated and he answered monotonously, "No, I don't."

Perseus smirked and bit into his arm with his elongated teeth. He pulled his bleeding wrist out of his teeth and shoved it into the man's mouth who was looking into the eyes of the original terrified. When there was enough blood in his system, he pulled his wrist away and snapped the man's neck. He suddenly heard a shriek and saw the woman screaming after what she had witnessed. Perseus sighed and walked towards her. He simply compelled her to forget everything that happened for the past hour and left her home grabbing the man and his gun.

[Alaric's Apartment]

Katherine was looking at Damon's werewolf bite while Damon stood in front of a mirror looking at his neck at the bite from the original as she asked, "So that's what a werewolf bite looks like."

"Yep."

She says, "It's not that bad."

"Will be."

He gets up as she asks hesitantly, "So that's it? You're just... Going to die?"

"Well, that depends. You know anything about a cure?" Damon asks as she doesn't answer, "Me neither."

He puts his jacket back on and turns around to leave when she suddenly says, "Maybe Perseus will know about it. 145 years and no last good-bye?"

"You don't get a good-bye."

She intercepts him and says, "No. Don't leave mad."

"Us ending on up on good terms isn't exactly on my bucket list, Katherine."

He started to walk away but she stops him by saying, "Klaus made me call Jenna to lure her out. There was nothing that I could do. I didn't have a choice."

"That's why I gave you the vervain. So you had a choice."

Katherine defends, "It was her or me. I chose her. But there is still chance she will survive."

Damon asked her confused, "What do you mean?"

"Fenris convinced him to save her if he finds a vampire replacement. So, yes Jenna may be safe by now." Katherine answered.

Damon asked her, "Yet you will still survive. How's that?"

"I didn't let love get in the way." The survivor admits.
