six - "failed experiment"

[Smoky Mountains, Tennessee]

Klaus, Perseus and Stefan were hiking up the forest of Smoky mountains, which lead them to the Ray's pack. Stefan is carrying an unconscious Ray on his shoulders.

"You okay?" Klaus mocked the vampire, "Is Ray getting heavy?" Perseus let out a chuckle which made the vampire glare at him.

"I'm fine." Stefan replied his question with an annoyed face.

"You sure about that?" Klaus continued his questioning with a smirk on his face, "You know, we've been walking for quite some time now. If you need some water or a little sit-down..."

Stefan interrupted the hybrid with a mock smile, "You know, I get that we're, uh... we're stuck together, but if we could maybe just skip the chit-chat, It'd be great."

"So much brooding, Stefan." Perseus taunted him a smirk, "Your self-loathing is suffocating you. It's not healthy. Now, we don't want another Monterey situation, do we?"

Klaus laughed and Stefan stiffened at his statement before saying, "Maybe It's 'cause I'm a little tired of hunting werewolves. We've been at it all summer."

"Tell me about it." Perseus said with a huff before looking at him, "But It's more than that, Isn't It? Maybe a certain doppelganger?"

Klaus smirked at his brother and said to Stefan gesturing towards the people within a certain distance, "Thanks to our pal Ray, we found ourselves a pack. There."

Stefan walked ahead of them with Klaus and Perseus following him. This place was peaceful and a good one for the wolves. Perseus zoned out thinking, maybe he will run through the woods in his wolf form. They watched as Stefan dropped the body of the dead werewolf in front of its pack who were looking at them in confusion at their friend's body unmoving.

"Ray!" A woman yelled running and fell to her knees next to him, shaking him, "Oh my God!" Another man joined her side touching her shoulder. Once they saw them, the woman looked up and asked Stefan, "Who are you?"

Klaus and Perseus walked forward towards the woman and answered her question, "The important question is, 'Who are we?'" He gestured between himself and Perseus. "Please, forgive the intrusion, My name is Klaus and... This is Fenris. I'm sure, you've heard of us." 

Perseus showed them their hybrid eyes making them all back away. Stefan watched in awe at the terrified wolves who were looking at the eyes of the original werewolf, who smiled devilishly. The woman stood up and slowly started backing away stuttering, "You're the hybrid and the Wolf."

"You've heard of us? Fantastic!" Perseus said to them before turning towards Klaus, "So, would you do the honors?"

#Timeskip:

The two originals and the vampire were sitting on the rock with all the werewolves surrounding them at a distance. So far, no werewolf had tried to make a run for it. They were all looking at them with fear and the woman was trembling a bit. Klaus was again with his rant about hybrids.
