The closer Joe gets to their house, the more nervous and nauseous he gets.
He arrives at the front door, and doubts whether he should knock or just use his keys to enter. If he knocks on the door, the chances are high that Ben won't let him in and locks the door. Key it is.
With trembling hands, Joe grabs his keys to enter their house. He makes sure to make enough noise while entering, so Ben doesn't startle when Joe suddenly stands in front of him.
He is actually a bit scared to walk further than the hallway. Because Ben probably doesn't want to see him. Which Joe understands. If he thought Ben kissed someone else he would be furious too.
He takes a deep breath and walks on to the living room.
But after less than three seconds his vision gets blurry again, which is why he can't see whether Ben is sitting in the living room or not.
He leans with one hand against the wall, and blinks a few times. Luckily his vision quickly turns to normal.
What is going on with him? It's not like he's totally wasted or didn't eat all day. So why does he keep being dizzy and nauseous?
After a few deep breaths, Joe finds the courage to call Ben's name. "Ben?"
The boy is clearly home, since the tv is on and Ben's keys are on the table.
Joe walks to the kitchen, but stops as soon as he sees the blond.

Ben is standing with his back to Joe, pretending he's busy making tea.
"Hey, I'm back." Joe says softly, biting his lip.
"No shit" Ben grunts. He doesn't make the effort to turn around so he can look at Joe.
"I- I uhm accidentally took your phone instead of mine." The ginger says to start his explanation.
"So?" Ben immediately snarls.
Joe swallows. "P-please just let me explain." He begs.
Ben shakes his head. "What's there to explain?! You kissed someone else!" He yells, clenching the countertop in his hands. "I should've known you weren't trustworthy. I should've known you were bound to break my heart at some point." The blond has to make an effort not to start crying.
Joe shakes his head. "You're not being fair Ben. Please just-"
But Ben doesn't let the boy finish his sentence. He turns around, finally facing Joe. "I'M NOT BEING FAIR?! You could've at least broken up with me before going back to your sluts!" He yells before turning around again.
Joe doesn't know if it's because he feels like a total wreck or because his boyfriend is mad at him, but he can't stop the tears from falling.
When Ben hears a soft sob behind him, it takes all of him not to turn around. But still, he stubbornly keeps standing with his back to Joe.
"B-Ben, I didn't make out with s-someone else. I p-promise." Joe says with a soft sniffle. He doesn't know why he is stuttering, but every word takes more and more effort to say.
There it is again. His vision gets blurry, he gets dizzy and nauseous. But this time he also feels a stinging pain in his stomach.
"B-Ben it w-was S-" Joe doesn't finish his sentence because the stomach ache gets even worse.
Joe cringes as he lets out a loud 'ow!'. The boy whimpers loudly as the pain gets worse and worse.
When Ben hears the noise Joe makes, he turns around, seeing his boyfriend in pain. "Joe?" He asks confused but also quite worried.

Joe slowly sinks to the floor, clutching his stomach in pain. A few more cries of pain escape his mouth. "M-make it s-stop, please!" He begs.
Ben immediately rushes over to the boy. He doesn't know what to do or what to say. He just kneels down next to Joe, and takes his hand. "Joe, you need to breathe." He says when he sees that Joe is holding his breath because of the pain.
The ginger does what Ben says, and he is happy when the stinging feeling slowly fades after a few deep breaths. But the nauseous feeling is still there.
Maybe some water will solve it. He wants to get up from the floor, but Ben stops him.
"You should sit down for a minute." The blond says, still very worried. He wants to hug the ginger so badly, but then he remembers that they're in a fight.
Joe shakes his head. "No no, I'm f-fine. I j-just need some w-water." He stutters. He gets up and walks towards one of the kitchen cabinets to grab a glass.
Ben wants to help the boy with all his heart, but he knows that Joe wouldn't let him. Of course he wants nothing more than to end this fight. But the thought of Joe kissing someone else makes him pissed every time again. And the fact that Joe keeps denying it, doesn't make him less mad.
The blond's thoughts get interrupted by the noise of breaking glass.

Ben looks up, and immediately panics when he sees Joe lying on the floor. He rushes over to the boy, and stares at him in shock. "JOE?! Joey please open your eyes. Please please please."Ben shakes the boy back and forth, but the ginger doesn't react.
After checking if Joe is still breathing, which he thankfully does, Ben puts the boy in a stable side position.
It's not until then that he notices the wound on the back of Joe's head. The blond swallows at the sight of all the blood.
In panic, Ben searches the room for a phone. As soon as he finds one, he dials 911. "Hello? Y-yes I need an ambulance as quickly as possible." He says when he gets on the phone with a woman.
After telling her their address, the woman starts to ask more detailed questions while the ambulance is on its way.
"My- my boyfriend came home looking very pale. He was stuttering and looking glassy out of his eyes. Not much later he grabbed towards his stomach and collapsed. After that he got up again for a glass of water but fainted and hit his head very hard." Ben rattles in one go.
With tears in his eyes, he looks at the passed out Joe as he explains what happened.
"I uhm- I put him in the stable side position." He says when the woman asks what Joe's position is at the moment. He can't help but breathe a sigh of relief when the woman tells him that he did a good job.
When the call ends, all Ben can do is wait for the ambulance to arrive. He nervously paces the room.
He bites his lip and kneels down next to Joe again. "Please be okay Joey." He whispers as a tear finds his way down his cheek.

He gets startled by his phone ringing. He quickly answers it when he sees that it's Rami calling him.
"Hey Ben, I just wanted to check if you and Joe have made things up? And if Joe's okay. He wasn't feeling that well when I saw him." Rami's voice says through the phone.
Ben lets out a loud sob and lets himself sink to the ground next to Joe again.
"Ben? Everything alright?" Rami asks when he hears Ben sobbing.
Ben shakes his head. "No, it's Joe. C-can you please... uhm... come to our h-house?" He manages to choke out.
"I'm on my way." Rami says.
Ben stutters a soft 'thanks' before ending the call. He's glad that Rami didn't ask any more questions.
In the distance he can already hear the sirens of the ambulance.
And although the blond isn't religious at all, he is willing to pray right now. He doesn't know if it will help, but he can't just sit there doing nothing. He needs to do everything he can to help Joe.
