61. Big blue eyes

After taking a taxi to the airport and waiting quite long until they could board, Ben Joe and Liz are now on the plane to the UK.
Liz is still asleep against Ben's chest in the baby wrap, and doesn't seem to notice any of the journey.
Just like his daughter, it hasn't taken Joe very long to fall asleep. With his head resting on Ben's shoulder, his eyes are peacefully closed.

It only took Joe less than an hour to fall asleep on Ben's shoulder.
With a smile, Ben moves his gaze between his sleeping daughter and his sleeping boyfriend. He keeps himself occupied with listening music and just looking through the window to the clouds.

After about 2 hours, Ben knows that it's almost time to feed Liz, meaning she can wake up any minute. He tries to take the girl out of the baby wrap without waking Joe, and to his surprise he succeeds.
It does wake up Liz though, and she starts to make some whiny noises.
"I know, I know. You're hungry, aren't you?" The blond whispers to reassure her.
He takes a thermos from the bag with Liz's stuff, and quickly makes the girl a bottle by adding formula to the warm water.
"There you go honey." Ben smiles.
Liz closes her eyes in satisfaction, enjoying her milk. Once the baby girl has finished her bottle, she just stares at Ben.
The blond smiles and lifts her a bit, so she's now sitting a little more up straight in his lap. He gently rubs his hand over her back.
Liz moves her blue eyes to Joe, who is still asleep on Ben's shoulder.
"Your Dad is one big sleepyhead, don't you think?" Ben says to her with a grin.
"Hey. Don't say that to her." Joe mumbles. He opens his eyes and gives Ben an offended look.
The blond giggles and gives his boyfriend a kiss on the head. "Sorry love."
Joe smiles at him, and then looks at their daughter. "Don't listen to your papa, Liz." He says to the little girl as he takes her over from Ben. As soon as he presses the girl against his chest, Liz grabs his sweater in her tiny hands. She yawns before closing her eyes.
"Now who's the sleepyhead here, huh?" Joe whispers with a big smile.
Ben chuckles softly, and secretly takes a picture of the two when Joe isn't looking. After sending the picture to Joseph, he puts away his phone.

When an announcement is heard through the speakers of the plane, Liz brutely startles awake. She starts crying loudly in Joe's arms, squirming around.
"Shh you're okay baby." The ginger whispers to shush her.
While Joe is rocking the girl, Ben quickly searches for her pacifier and her lovey. Once he has found them, he hands the pacifier to Joe.
Luckily that works, and the crying stops.
Liz looks at Ben, her blue eyes still watery from the crying.
"You should be happy about this Lizzy. We're almost home." Ben says before giving her a little kiss on the head. After that he puts his head on Joe's shoulder. "I'll text Rami." He says with a smile.
"Just a little while longer and then we can show your pretty blue eyes to the boys." Joe says to Liz with a smirk.

"You look like you're pregnant." Ben giggles, looking at his boyfriend with a big smile.
Joe smiles and rolls his eyes. He is the one to wear Liz in the baby wrap this time. But to preserve the little girl from all the noise on the airport the ginger has zipped up his jacket over the wrap.
The girl almost totally disappears behind the the collar of the jacket.
"I thought you said Rami would wait for us by the exit?" Joe asks confused when no one's there.
Ben shrugs and nods. "He did. Probably just late."
Right at that moment Rami and Gwil enter through the large doors of the airport.
"Hey guys!" Rami says happily.
Ben rolls his eyes. "You didn't mention you'd bring him." He says with his eyes on Gwil.
Rami smirks and plays along. "Trust me, I didn't know he'd come either. But before I knew it, he was in my car."
Gwil pouts a little. "What? I just missed my friends."
Ben smiles and briefly hugs him. "Maybe we missed you too. A little." He says with a shrug and a smirk.
Then the bulge under Joe's jacket catches their eye. "What are you hiding under your jacket Joe? Smuggling drugs?" Rami asks curiously.
Gwil nods as a sign that he'd like to know what it is as well.
Both Ben and Joe smile widely immediately.
The ginger shakes his head. "Not here. Let's get to the car first." He says.
