Chapter 21;

9 months later...

Jooha gave birth three days ago and now In-na was rushed to the hospital because she is now about to give birth to their daughter. I jumped out of bed and called Y/n... luckily, she picked up right away and wanted to tag along. I picked her up from her hotel and drove to the hospital with Renjun and Yoon-ha. About the NCT 2020, it's still going, but we're trying to film 24 hour relay cams.

Once we arrived at the hospital, we got out of the car and saw Jisung. Jooha was probably sleeping with Hasung (their child) in her room. She's still in the hospital, and she's probably going to be released tomorrow. Jaemin is inside the delivery room, Renjun is sitting anxiously while Yoon-ha is trying to calm him down while Y/n and I are flustered with the situation. It was all so sudden that my body just told me to go without the whole thing sinking in. But now, I'm wide awake and flustered.

After about an hour, Jaemin got out of the room with a huge smile. Renjun sighed in relief. "Everyone, you will meet Jae-na in a while." Jaemin said. Renjun went up to hug Jaemin. Wah~ I'm proud of In-na. In-na lived with us for so she's like a sister to me. I looked at my side to find out that Y/n wasn't there anymore. I looked around and saw that he was talking to Yoon-ha. I went up to Y/n and sighed as I hugged her from the back. "Why?" She asked. "I was so deep in my thoughts that when I looked at my side, you weren't there. I panicked for a second, but then saw you talking here with Yoon-ha." I said. "We were just talking about how Renjun and her got along and stuff." She let out giggle and Yoon-ha excused herself to go to Renjun who was literally very hyper because he now has a niece. Well guess what Renjun, you're not the only one! Tsk. But this really got me thinking... what would've happened if Jaemin didn't save In-na from dying before? What if I didn't transfer to our school? What if Jisung didn't transfer to our school? What if Jooha liked Jaemin instead? What if Y/n wasn't able to see my face back then? What if Renjun didn't have a girlfriend who used him for fame in the past before having Yoon-ha? It was painful. Yes, many unexpected events and dramas happened to us in the past and those will still keep on happening... but isn't it the reason why we're still together? Why Jaemin in In-na are together and now with a child. Why Jisung and Jooha are still together and are now with a child. Why Renjun fixed his relationship with In-na. Why Renjun has Yoon-ha now. Why I found Y/n again. Why we're together as NCT DREAM. I started to tear up. Did I really just overthink? I know I'm boring as hell which is why they call me no jam, but like... Hyuck is supposed to be the overly dramatic one, not me. "Oh? Jeno, why are you crying?" Y/n asked me. "It's nothing... I was just thinking, but then I got emotional remembering everything we've all been through. How we're together again. How all this happened and stuff. I- I'm just happy that even if we went through so much pain, we can still be together like this. It made me emotional in a happy way." I said. "Aw... don't be sad babe." She said with a sweet smile. Wait... she called me babe??? "What did you say?" I asked with my eyes widened. "Say what?" She asked. "What you just said." I said. "Say what?" She asked. "No no no... not that... the one before that." I said. "Aw... don't be sad babe?" She said with one of her eyebrows raised. "YES! That one. You called me babe!" "Oh, do you not like it?" She asked. "No! Why would I like it?" I said. "Well... what should I call yo—-" I gave her a peck on her lips cutting her off. "I love it." I said with a bright smile as she smiled as well. Just a second later, I heard something fall on the floor. We both turned to see who it was and it was a girl. Is she a journalist or a sasaeng or what? The girl's eyes were widened with the sight she saw. She glared at Y/n and stomped towards her with rage. In just a second she's already pulling Y/n's hair. "Excuse me, who are you? You have no right to pull her hair." I said angrily as I tried getting her hands off of Y/n's hair. "I deserve an explanation on what I just saw." The girl said angrily. I finally got her hands out of Y/n's hair and pushed her back, but gently. "An explanation on what?" I asked. "On why you're dating her." She said. "What do you mean? How do I know you?" I asked. "I am Ki Jin-won." She said with full confidence. "I'm sorry, I don't seem to know you." I said. I had Y/n stay behind me because who knows what this Ji-won is planning to do. "Well from now on you should. I am an nctzen, you are my bias, and I deserve an explanation on why you chose her." She said. "Oh, so you're an nctzen. May I ask why you're here if you're a fan?" I said. "Yes, I saw a news flash saying that Jaemin's wife... that slut... is now giving birth so I went here to see you guys." She said. SLUT??? SHE CALLED IN-NA A SLUT??? "Uhuh... so why are you calling Jaemin's wife a slut?" I asked. "Why not? She's a slut because she stole Jaemin from all those nctzens." She said and rolled her eyes. "Well... I'm not sure if you know this, but In-na is Renjun's sister and Renjun cares a lot about his sister. Even the members do. We all treat her like a sister, and you... don't know her which means you have no reason to call her a slut." I said. "If all of you guys treat her like a sister, then why did she get married to Jaemin?" She asked. "Because, In-na and Jaemin already acted different towards each other from the start. We already expected them to be in a relationship together. Now, if you'll excuse me... I have somewhere else to be." I said and tried to walk away, but she held my arm. "Why can't you just accept it that I love you? Why did you have to be with her? I came here to see you because you might be worried about Jaemin's wife. I even came here when that Jooha girl gave birth, but you don't even give me a chance." She said. I know that it's hard for her maybe, but... she followed us here and invaded our privacy, called In-na a slut and literally pulled my girlfriend's hair just because she wants me to give her a chance? I think that's too much. If fans really love their idols, they should support us when we're happy with something. I was disappointed. I never imagined that some people were obsessive. I didn't speak to her and just removed her hand from my arm. I grabbed Y/n's arm and walked away from her. "BE PREPARED LEE JENO! I WILL BE POSTING THE PICTURES I TOOK OF THE BOTH OF YOU!" She said. I ignored her and walked away. Sure, I love our fans and I am thankful for their love and support, but isn't this too much?  We walked towards In-na's room, 'cause somehow she was already transferred to a room without us realising it.
