Chapter 4;

LUNCH TIME

Jeno's P.O.V:
Class just finished and we're about to go to the cafeteria. I'm with my members, but Y/n said that she wanted to try and find friends. I was happy for her so I let her find some friends.

Once we got to the cafeteria, we sat next to the other members and Jooha. I carefully watched Y/n as she roamed around the cafeteria looking for a seat or someone to sit next to. She has been roaming around for 5 minutes and I got tired. I stood up from my chair, frustrated. I walked up to her and grabbed her wrist. "I'm Jeno. Just come with me, you've been walking around for 5 minutes. You need to eat." I said as she just nodded and sighed. I lead her to our table. "Feel comfortable here and sit down. I'm here anyway." I said and gave her a wink... hahaha I'm literally laughing inside. "I know that." She said and gave me a wink too. Now I'm blushing... I chuckled and pulled out a chair for her to sit on. "Thank you." She said with a smile and sat on the chair while I also sat down on the chair beside her. The members and Jooha were staring at us. "Why are you guys staring?" I said. "Oh it's nothing." They all said. "Yeah it's really nothing you see hyung you don't have much friends and now you're here bringing Y/n everywhere with you." Jaemin said. "Aren't you guys glad that I found a friend?" I asked while taking a sip out of my drink. "We are... we're just shocked and excited for you." Taeyong hyung said. I nodded, looked at Y/n for a while and went back to eating. Once we were done, we stood up and walked towards the lounge. I knew that Y/n didn't know about it, so I grabbed her hand and brought her with me. "Ya! Where are you taking me?" She asked. "I'm taking you with me to the NCT lounge." I said. "I don't think I'm allowed there." She said. "I'm letting you go there." I said and she just gave up.

Once we reached the NCT lounge, I let go of her hand, but she tried to run away, so I immediately ran after her. "Nope... you're not getting away from me Y/n." I said as I tried to tie her hand with my handkerchief. "Jeno... stop." She said with tears in her eyes. I messed up. I was just playing around... I forgot what happened to her earlier. I immediately let go her hands and hugged her tight and comforted her. "I'm so sorry Y/n... I forgot about what happened earlier. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I was just playing around. I'm sorry." I said as I started to cry. "It's okay... you didn't mean to." She said as she hugged me too. Once we calmed down, we went inside the lounge since lunch period is not yet over. "What took you guys so long?" Kun hyung asked. "Guys? You're saying it as if you expected me to bring her in here." I said with a chuckle. "We did expect you to bring her. It's either you bring her or you follow her." Chenle said. I just laughed while Y/n was standing beside me awkwardly. "You can sit down." I told her. She just looked at me. "Ey... come on... don't be shy. They're not going to bite or something." I said with a laugh. She still didn't move so I just took her hand and made her sit on the couch next to Jaemin before sitting next to her. Jooha was sitting next to Jaehyun hyung since they're cousins. We just chatted and they talked to Y/n as well... and it was nice. She got more comfortable with the members and stuff, but sadly we had to go before lunch period is over or else we'll be late. The dreamies, Y/n and I were walking down the halls to go to the classroom, but suddenly... a girl grabs my hand making everyone look at us. "Jeno... do you... remember me?" The girl asked nervously. The funny thing was she's a complete stranger to me. "I'm sorry... I don't know who you are." I said politely giving a smile, but not as nice as the ones I show Y/n. "Oh... I was your playmate when we were younger." She said. That's weird... I did have a playmate, but she looked nothing like her. "What's your name?" I asked. "Min Heesung." She said. "Oh... I'm sorry... that's not the name of my playmate before. Her name is Kim Y—- Kim Y/n." Oh my... this is where I realised that Y/n was my playmate when we were kids. I turned to Y/n who had a confused face. "Don't tell me you were the kid that cried every time I went to the park just because your parents were forcing you to take this certain class you hated." I said. Her eyes widened. "So you were the boy who always wore his cap backwards?" She asked. I nodded. The dreamies were just watching peacefully at the side as if they were watching some drama. "So maybe that's why you can see my face. You know... I used to make you smile whenever you cried." I said with a slight laugh. "But isn't that like... such a long time ago?" She asked. "Maybe I'm just that special to you." I said with a smirk which lead her to smacking my arm. I just laughed at her cuteness. "You're so cute." I said with a chuckle. "What the heck Jeno?" She said with a confused expression. "What? I was just stating facts." I said. "Let's just walk to the classroom." She said and I obeyed.
