Another Life -- Jose Holebas

Vasiliki woke up. Jose had left. Again.

She was tired of this happening another time. But she had agreed to this.

Vasiliki and Jose had made a deal. Last summer he divorced his wife of 3 years and he was devastated. He caught her cheating and that hurt.

Since then, he promised he would never trust any woman again.

But you know, men have needs.

So he and Vasiliki made an agreement. She would satisfy his needs and he would pretend to be her boyfriend in front of her parents, because they thought she was unable to get a boyfriend on her own.

This had been happening for five months now and they both seemed pleased of that deal.

Vasiliki though seemed to have had enough.

She had started developing feelings for that Greek-Uruguanian defender. 

He had some too. But he had made a promise and he would keep it until he was dead. His daughter, Tanisha, was the only woman he would ever trust.

Vasiliki picked up her stuff and left Jose's house in Rome.

She went home and spent most of her day there.

When it was dark outside, Jose called her.

"Good evening, Vasiliki." She heard his warm voice say.

"Hey Jose. What's up?" She said and knew he'd tell her to come over.

He always did.

"Um, fine... Hey listen, wanna come over?"

"Jose I... We need to talk."

"What's wrong babe?"

"I like you Jose. And this-what's happening here hurts me. Like, a lot."

"I like you too Vasiliki, but you know, I promised myself I'd never trust a woman. And I won't."

"But... I'm not a normal woman. I'm not like the others."

"I know that Vasiliki. But I made a promise."

"Oh, okay."

The line went dead silent for a while. Vasiliki could hear Jose's breathing.

"I'm sorry..." He finally said.

"It's fine Jose." She didn't really mean it.

"Kay. Are you still up for coming over though?" 

"Of course." Vasiliki said and hung up.

She was going back to normal.

They were going back to normal.

Everything was going back to normal.

Nothing had changed.

Neither did her feelings.

But... 

Maybe in another life.

Hey there! It seems like I haven't updated in like forever! But the truth is that I had no requests so I didn't know what to do :P And because of that, I told my friends if they wanted one. And funny fact, they did! So here goes another one for the γκούγκλα @vasiliki5sos, my best friend <3 And I have another three to do for my friends! I'm really excited actually, because I can see what they feel in their face and I love it! I mean I love writing for you guys too, but you can't really now what's going on behind a comment.
