Football One-Shots :)

22 -- Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Today was a special day in the Chamberlain house. It was the day Alex was becoming 22 and Emily wanted it to be celebrated the way it should.

It wasn't long until Alex had woken up and started getting ready for training. Emily pretending to be still asleep waited for him to leave so she could start planning her surprise for him.

Hearing the door closing, she assumed her fiance had left. She quickly got up and wore some clothes she found, and then picked up the house phone to call Kieran to check if everything's going the way she wanted.

"Hello?" The voice in the other side of the phone said.

"Hey Kieran, has Alex arrived?"

"Yeah he's just here, you wanna talk to him?"

"No stupid! I'm asking because... Don't you remember Gibbs? Seriously?"

"Yeah yeah I remember, I'm not that foolish Emily! I just wanted to seem natural, so that he wouldn't understand."

"Okay, I got it. Thanks Kieran I'll see you in a while." Emily said and closed the phone as she picked up her keys and left.

Her next stop was the Arsenal training centre, but before that she had to pick up the birthday cake for her boy.

She arrived at the cake shop where she had ordered a wonderful cake, with Alex's figure on top of it and loads of Arsenal/football related decorations.

After she took the cake, she carefully put it in the back of her car. Then, after a while, she arrived at the training centre and called Kieran again.

"Hey Kieran I'm here." She said as soon as he picked up the phone.

"Hi... mom." Emily heard him saying hesitantly.

"What?"

"I'm, I'm good, how are you?"

Emily still didn't understand what was going on.

"Are you okay Kieran?"

"Yes mum, I'm wearing a jacket I won't get cold!"

"Eh?"

"What did you say mum? I can't hear you hold on, I'll go outside maybe it will help."

"What are you talking about Gibbs?"

"I'm sorry Emily, I just was right next to Chambo when you phoned! I couldn't say anything!"

"You're weird Kieran."

"I am. Now, what did you say?"

"That you're weird."

"No, why did you phone me?"

"Because I'm right outside!"

"For reals? Okay I'll come, wait."

Emily waited a second after this weird conversation with her fiance's friend and finally, she saw the Englishman coming.

"Where's Jenko?" He shouted.

"Sshhh Kieran! Do you want Alex to hear us now?"

Gibbs walked a bit more until he was standing right in front of her.

"Where's Jenko?" He asked again, a lot more silently this time.

"I didn't talk to him today, you did, you must know!"

"Fine, let me call him."

He clicked some buttons on his phone and then he put it in his ear, calling Carl.

"Yo mate, where are you? Emily's already here!"

Carl obviously said something but Emily was too far to hear.

"Okay, okay, we're waiting for you."

"So?" Emily asked nervously.

"He's in his way."

"He's probably not even started yet!" Emily said and laughed.

They waited a while but then Kieran's phone beeped.

"It's Jenko. He says he's stuck in traffic and he might be a little late."

"Oh God! Fine, tell him we're going in."

"Already did that."

Kieran helped Emily carry the cake while the rest of the squad except Calum who was outside with Alex to distract him was decorating the room with ballons and stuff.

"Guys, we brought the cake!" Kieran shouted, causing a little loudness in the room.

"Where is Jenkinson?" Jack asked.

"He's coming."

After they perfectly set everything, the went to hide as Calum had texted them that they were coming inside.

The door opened and the two young men walked inside.

Calum hadn't even closed the door when a jumping Wojciech came out of nowhere screaming 'Happy Birthday!'.

That had taken both by surprise but next, everybody had done the same while hugging and kissing the birthday boy(or man!).

"Happy birthday babe!" Emily said to her fiance.

"Thank you my love. Did you plan all of this?"

"Yeah, with a little help of Gibbs and the rest." She said and smiled.

She wanted to see him happy and he finally was. But little did he know the surprise wasn't finished.

They all sat down to eat and everybody seemed in a really good mood.

Ruining that good mood, a small squeak from the door behind them made everyone turn around to see what's happening.

"Carl!" Theo said making Alex turn around too.

Could it be his most precious friend?

Alex saw the man standing there and looking at him. It was him and he thanked God for that.

Not waiting much time, Alex stood up and ran towards his best friend. They hugged without saying much and after some time Alex decided to talk.

"So... Oh my god, okay, why are you here Jenko?"

"Ask her." He said smiling and showing Chambo's fiancee sitting nearby.

"Oh Emily! I love you so much! Thank you! This is the best day ever!" Alex said before he kissed her.

Then, he went back to Carl and shouted with all of his soul.

"CARLAMBERLAIN ARE REUNITED!!!!"
