Rizzoli and Isles Welcomes Maura and Jane to the Family

A day of surprises.

Maura wakes up early kissed Jane and left her a note.
BABE,
Your breakfast is in the microwave.  Turn it on for one minute. The orange juice is in the refrigerator. Please drink all of juice with one bottled water with your morning vitamins.
I will see you at my place no sooner than six. Enjoy your rest of your day with Joe Friday. By the way, I let him out to do his business, cleaned it up and fed him.

Jane eats her breakfast and takes Joe Friday for a long walk to get her daily exercise in.

Maura was at the Jeweler early to pick up the custom engagement ring she had made for Jane.

Jane would receive the blue sapphires the day of their wedding.

Patty shows up and tells Maura Jane will be lucky to receive that tonight and congrats on their baby.I love the inscription too. Maura always forgets at times Patty connections.  He promised he would not tell anyone. She was miffed about him finding out the pregnancy because of HIPPA regulations.

Patty kisses her cheek. I love you Maura take care and leaves when she is paying for the ring. Maura turns to say Patty, but he was gone.  She was going to invite him to the dinner tonight.  The salesman says he knows just like everything else. Maura smiles and states you are right.

Maura goes home to see how the baby nursery is coming along. The babies room of course is done in the Boston Red Sox team colors. She knew Jane would insist on that.

If the baby was a girl,  she would some girlie decorations too like a jewel crown for starters.

Jane arrived at the time she was to be there. Jane saw the note after  turning the alarm off to use the silk scarf to cover her eyes and call out for Maura. Maura had peach cider and some cheese set up in the nursery for them. Jane called out for Maura and Maura came downstairs to get her. Jane couldn't see her but could smell her perfume. Maura took her hands and guided her upstairs to the nursery. She opened the nursery door and removed the blindfold. Oh baby girl this is just how I imagined the nursery to be. Many people dream about their wedding day. I always dreamt of a nursery with the baeball them. She hugged her and gave her several sensual kisses. They drank the cider and sat on the nursery floor and had cheese with the cider. They hear the  doorbell and quickly got up and locked the nursery door.
Jane got the door and Ma and the guys were bringing in the dishes and meat for the dinner. Hope arrived a few minutes later with her daughter with desserts.  Constance rang the doorbell and asked the guys to bring in the already chilled beverages.  The guys along with Susie, Maura's co worker in and Frost showed up.  Frost was hired as the newest detective after Frankie switched over to computer analysis after the cross bow homicide. Cavanaugh was the last guest to arrive for dinner or as everyone thought.

Maura and Jane thanked everyone for being part of their lives.  Everyone ate dinner, laughed and enjoyed themselves. Everyone noticed the two hosts were not drinking alcohol. Angela said okay you two spill it us parents already figured it out so tell everyone else. JANE SAID YES WE ARE PREGNANT AND MAURA IS OVER THREE AND HALF MONTHS ALONG. THE BABY IS HEALTHY AND THE NURSERY WAS DONE IN SECRET BY MAURA. They had everyone come upstairs to look at the nursery. Many loved it but Constance said what if its a girl. Mom I already have ideas and those items are placed on hold for me until we know for sure.

Everyone went downstairs while Jane ran to the restroom to release herself. This gave Maura time to set up third surprise she had for tonight.  Everyone was mingling and having fun.

Maura said normally I wouldn't do this with all you present, but each of you are family to both of us. Jane looks at Maura with a weirdo facial expression. When Jane knelt down on one knee Jane now knew why. JANE WE STARTED OFF AS NOT LIKING ONE ANOTHER, BUT WE GREW ON EACH OTHER. YOU ARE THE LOVE OF MY LIFE AND SOON TO BE THE MOTHER OF OUR CHILD, WILL YOU MARRY ME SO I CAN MAKE YOU AN HONEST WOMEN?  Tommy laughs honest. Kane doesn't even look at Tommy because they all knew what was coming.  Angela slapped Tommy in the back of his head.  Frank senior tells Tommy to stop and zip it. Jane says thanks ma and papi. Maura is waiting patiently for Jane's response. Of course,  baby girl I will mary to. Maura slides the ring on her ring finger and it fits perfectly.  Jane stands up and kisses Maura.  Jane gets on her knees and proposes to Maura.  Maura you beat me to it. As usual you take the spotlight but that is just one of many reasons why I love you. Jane slides the ring on Maura's finger and it fits perfectly.  They both kissed and hugged and were surprised the rings fit. Both ladies didn't realize the salesperson was in on it.  He had them both try rings on in different widths. He was aware that they both were going to propose but didn't know when. Jane had her ring made a couple of months ago but had already asked Hope and Constance for their daughters hand two months ago when they met for lunch.

Patty shows up briefly after Cavanaugh leaves.  Patty congrats Jane and tells her take care of my girl and my grandchild and do not break her heart.  He hugs her and Maura than kisses Hope and leaves before he can be arrested by their colleagues, since he is wanted.

Jane and Maura cannot believe today. Everyone says their good byes after everything is cleaned up. Maura sets the alarm. Maura has one more surprise unbeknownst.  Maura tells Jane, since we are engaged and expecting soon the next logical thing is to move in together.  Jane I bought you your own dresser.  Jane opens the closet to get her some of her pjs. She sees that Maura had the entire closet redesigned and expanded a little making the master restroom a little smaller. If you know Maura likes fine things, her master restroom was the size already of Jane's condo bedroom, kitchen and restroom. Jane started crying. Babe why you crying? I am happy but my hormones are driving me nuts already. Maura kisses her and wraps her around her while she still can.
Jane tomorrow your new healthy begins.  Jane agrees and hold onto that thought. Jane runs downstairs to get some strawberries to add as the healthy part for the huge slice of cheese cake she cut for herself and a smaller piece for Maura. Jane smiles.  Jane let me guess the added strawberries so I won't get mad. She hugs and kisses her.  They feed each other the cheese cake and than go brush their teeth before they take the nightly vitamins and probiotics. Maura usually lays on top of Jane. Instead she places her leg over her and pulls Jane towards her to kiss her goodnight.
They talk about today and evening before they go to sleep for the night.
