Beyond Friendship

Final match for the singles

All thirty single contestants left competing for the top honor and bragging rights for a year.

Off the back 20 were eliminated immediately . These 20 couldn't make three bull's  eyes shots. Mary was sore that she didn't place this year. Becca tried to comfort her and say baby its okay. You have a year to get ready for the next event.

This left red dot and nine others to go for the championship. Maura was one of the final two to compete for the championship.  This time there was a new twist. Red dot and her opponent, Jennifer, would be blind folded. Red dot was nervous because she was out of practice being blind folded. Jennifer made a three bulls eyes. Red dot only made two. Red dot was still happy with her performance because it was years, since she practiced shooting. Jennifer chose the hummer and was thrilled with her winnings and trophies.  All winners were featured in the shooting magazine.  Even red dot got to have her picture taken and little story about her in the well known magazine.

Korsak and Frankie told all of Maura's former classmates to stay along with their one guest and judges.
The judges were getting ansy. Korsak told the women to be patient it won't take long.

The head judge tried to leave but Jane stopped and handcuffed her and walked her back with the other women. The head judge wasn't part of the fix but was the person who killed Thomas.  Mary was paying off Thomas for him to keep his mouth shut. She didn't want Becca to know that in the last year and half, Mary was paying the judges off for her to win. Thomas had seen Mary at a restaurant with three of the judges eating dinner but each was given a box that contained their money to make sure Mary won. Once Thomas found out, he met with Mary at one of the family gatherings before Becca arrived to gathering. Becca usually showed up separately to the family events and met Mary there because of her hectic work obligations. The head judge was bisexual and thought Mary and Thomas were sleeping together because she would always see Thomas coming out of Becca's residence than Mary would come out last. The judge knew Becca could barely keep her commitments to Mary with her job commitments. Out of jealousy,  the head judge used the cross bow and placed it in Becca's trunk thinking it was Mary's vehicle. Mary always drove Becca's lexus as if it was her own. Becca didn't care to drive alot. Mary would always drive Becca to work and pick her up. During work hours, she would call an uber.
Becca was heart broken that her favorite cousin was murdered and Mary was keeping her winnings fixes a secret. Becca broke up with Mary but gave her the lexus. Becca didn't want have anything to do with that lexus after MARY packed up her belongings and left Becca's home.

Later in the week,  Maura asked Mary why did she have to resort to cheating. Red dot always saw Mary as an excellent shooter who just needed a little more self confidence in herself.
