Beyond Friendship

Return back to THEIR normal routine

Maura and Jane returned back to work on Thursday. They felt better by Wednesday but the extra day was so they could mess with their mothers. Both gals had a humor and evil side within them.

When they returned to work, they noticed fliers of them up at the department of them with kleenex in their noses and their hair unkempt, with pale complexions.

Jane yelled at Korsak and Frankie. She knew it was them who printed way too many fliers. Their fellow teammates purchased a case of kleenex and several cans of chicken soup. They left the gag gifts on each of their desk top. Jane goes downstairs and says ma this is all your fault we both are being teased. Ma how could you do this to Maura? You know Maura is a proud woman especially when it comes to her appearance.

Korsak saw the picture on Angela's cell and forwarded the picture to his and Frankie's cell without Angela knowing  This was their way of getting back for messing up their days and evening hours.

Maura stayed downstairs in the basement for the rest of her shift. She was humiliated by the fliers. Jane tried to reassure that this will be old news. Maura cancelled tonight's restaurant dinner and said she would reschedule when she felt better. 

Jane was so pissed at Korsak and Frankie. Korsak and Frankie tried several times to Maura but she just shut them down.  Jane was worried because this is not like Maura not to fulfill a promise.
Jane met with them all while Maura stayed isolated in the basement. Ma see what your so called innocent picture done to Maura. Angela felt ashamed of herself and tried to apologize to Maura too.

Maura had enough for the night.  Before she left work to go home she wrote an email to all.

Until further notice, only lab technician and medical doctors who work with me will be allowed in the basement. All were surprised that Cavanaugh didn't protest.
