Loving One Another

Jane and Maura were so happy and so love with one another.

Three months past...

Jane woke up and ran to the restroom. Maura was making breakfast for them in bed.
Maura brought up scrambled eggs,  sour dough toast with strawberry jam, fruit cup and coffee for them. Maura put tray on the bed when she heard Jane in the restroom getting sick. Maura said babe you okay. No Maur I am not okay.  Jane couldn't figure out why she felt ill. Maura gave a cup of mouthwash to rinse her mouth and a warm rag to wipe her face.  Maura leaned against the tub smiling. Jane said Maur it is too early and I am not up to sex right now and vomited again. Maura handed Jane a pregnancy test.  Jane looked at Maura you think. Yes, Jane you have been tired more than usual,  slightly more moody than your normal self, queasy stomach and you haven't had a period for awhile. Jane looked at the test and removed it from the box. Maura can I have some privacy.  Maura lol really now you want privacy.  She told Jane she had made breakfast to come and eat while they wait for the results.  Maura  handed Jane her coffee  while they waited. Jane started eating the breakfast and picked up the sports section to review the section on what time was the cubs game tonight, since she was planning on getting her and Maura tickets for the game.
Jane got up and brought the stick out to show Maura. MAURA WERE PREGNANT DADDY. Maura picked and spin Jane around. Maura put me down I  don't want to get and ran to the restroom again. Maura said we have to decide which room will be the nursery. Jane said babe no brainer the guest room. We both enjoy our individual alone time, me in my art studio and you in your yoga room. You need your office when you work from home.  They finished their breakfast discussing possible names and ideas for the nursery. They were jumping the gun but Maura didn't think so.  Jane set up an appointment with her gynecologist to make sure for tomorrow.

Today,  they would go looking at stores. Even Jane who didn't like shopping was into it for today.  Jane said window shopping until we are for sure. Maura said sure babe whatever you say. Maura had several stores mapped out for them to look for baby furniture and accessories. Maura had already called the stores to give them a heads up. She told them her and her girlfriend would be coming by window shopping as her girlfriend said but in reality anything they liked the salesperson made a note of it and made a list for Maura with colors, prices and dimensions for Maura to take and how long would it take for delivery once an order was placed by her.

Jane wanted to eat ar one of her favorite burger places. Maura said once she they found out for definite Jane's eating habits would have to change but for now no alcohol. Jane had no problem with the alcohol ruling but the eating habits they would table for now.

Jane ordered a double beef burger,  two strips of bacon, tomatoes, bbq sauce with peppered jack cheese, double order of cheesy fries and a large Dr. Pepper. Maura ordered a single veggie burger, brussel sprouts, red onion, mayonnaise and mustard on a thin toasted bun for her burger with a strawberry shake and two fiji waters.

Jane said go ahead and pick your my fries while I cut my burger.  They both enjoyed their conversations on how they plan on telling their loved ones and ate their lunch with huge smiles om their faces. Constance saw them in the window and came in to say hi. Constance said Jane you look different today. Jane said I do hmm. Are you feeling okay dear.  Jane said yes but thank you for your concern. Constance said her goodbyes.

Constance left the restaurant and called Hope to meet her at the Daily Robber immediately. Constance  met Hope there. Constance  speaks with Angela who worked as a waitress. Angela greets Constance and Hope. Constance asked if they could talk privately for a few. Constance  told Angela and Hope  she ran into the girls and Jane looked beautiful but a little different today.  Angela and Hope our girls are pregnant.  Angela said what they haven't said anything to me. Angela I don't think they know for sure themselves. Angela and Hope yelled for joy.  We are going to be grandmothers soon.

Angela said lets Plan a Sunday family dinner at Maura's on Saturday. We will just tell them that we haven't had a family dinner for awhile. The girls will agree to it with no problems.  Angela said I will tell them I, Korsak Frankie will do the cooking. Hope was in charge of desserts and Constance in charge of the beverages.

Jane bought tickets for her and Maura and when to the Cubs game. Hotdogs, peanuts, soda and bottled water. Jane missing her beer but knew she needed not to drink beer for awhile. MAURA IF I CAN'T DRINK BEER, YOU CANNOT HAVE WINE. Babe for you no problem.  They kissed and continued to watch the game. The cubs won by several points.  Jane picks up Maura and swings her around.  Jane put me down. You cannot being doing that I don't want you hurting yourself or the baby.

They left and went back to Jane's for the night, since Jane's place was closer to her doctor's office. 

Jane filled out the paper work and medical assistant called Jane Rizzoli.  Jane and Maura got up and followed the medical assistant.  Jane I need you to change into the gown, please keep the gown to be opened in the front.   Dr. Sand came in and Jane introduces Maura to her. Oh my, Grace Sand you are her gynecologist. Small world they went to school together. Grace said I knew you were bi like me but you were always a private person. Maura I now get to call the girls. Thanks Maura you made me five hundred dollars. Jane and Maura laugh. Maura was thinking back to her college days. She had a crush on Grace but never acted on it for fear of what her family would think of her. Constance had gay and lesbian friends, but she knew Constance wouldn't be open minded for her daughter to love a woman. Maura was glad that her mom finally accepted Jane as her girlfriend and hopes she will be just as accepting when she plans on proposing to Jane on Saturday in front of their loved ones.  Dr. Sand how far am I along, a little over three months Jane. We will set up your next appointment to reveal the sex of your baby. Jane couldn't believe she was that far along,  since she wasn't showing much. Jane still fit into all of her clothes without problems. Dr. Sand said the assistant would give them a photo of their baby with the next appointment.  Maura lets have lunch soon to catch up. Jane I will see you in two weeks. Maura gave Dr. Sands a hug good bye. Jane noticed Maura's facial expressions when she hugged her but would discuss it with her later on.

Later that evening,  Jane asked Maura have you ever had feelings for Dr. Sand. Jane when I knew her she was just plain old Grace.  Okay,  well Grace did you. Yes,  Jane but never acted on  them. No one knew I was intersex back than.  I never acted on them because Constance wouldn't of accepted any same gender relationship of me even though she had gay and lesbian friends. Maura I think I should change doctors. Jane there is no need to do that. I am with you and I only have eyes for you babe and kissed her.

Jane and Maura changed into lounge wear and Maura made dinner for them at Jane's place. Maura was staying more over Jane's place, since she wanted Saturday to be filled with several surprises for her. One being a painted nursery and baby furniture assembled.  The second a dresser being brought in and her closet being remodeled to fit Jane's clothing. Maura was hoping after Saturday they would be engaged.

They ate cleaned up and went to bed early Jane was tired. Maura picked up some additional vitamins for Jane to take.  They each took their vitamins and  probiotics and called it a night.
