Meet Sonakshi Boss

Hey people,

I know you are very interested to know about me. So, let's start from the day where everything changed.

Past starts

Today, I woke up really late in morning coz there was no hope left in my life to survive. With a job that sucks like hell, what you expect out of me? Flowers? Haha, not for sure. My life used to sucks. Sucks a lot for sure. I did my Morning routine and in a order to find some hope I went to my table to start my day. It's work from home.

I was doing my work, then my focus shifted to what the hell I'm doing with my life. Stuck in a body which I don't love, coz people around me call me fat. A job where there is no happiness but stress. This is not going just so right.

I want to mend things, to live my dream life. So, I promised myself that I no longer be this much lazy and decided to put back my life on track.

Present

Today was my first day as being an officer in Indian railway service of signal engineers. I got ready early as my red light car is just outside my home to take me to my office. I quickly had the breakfast served to me by Rohini Aunty cum my nutritionist. She came specially today to cook food for me as it was my first day. After serving me, she went to her house which was nearby. After completing breakfast, I went to office. Here comes I, my new life.

As soon as I entered the office everyone showed me with warmth and flowers. They welcomed me heartfully and I was escorted to my new office. One girl nearly same as my age entered into my office and started giving me her introduction," Good Morning Mam, Welcome to office. I'm Elina, your PA.

I smiled at warmheartly," Thanks Alina. Don't call me mam, call me just Sonakshi". She gave me shocking expressions after listening to what I have said.

"Mam, but how can I", oh god this girl hesitated a lot. What to do with her, she must be fearing me. Obviously people fear you a lot when you work at such a big position.  But I guess I wanted to feel her at home whenever she is with me coz she is gonna be the one who is gonna stay with me 24*7 during this job.

"Elinaa, no mam please", I again stressed her by putting some pressure on last name of her world.

"Okay then..umm Sonakshi"

"Mam, umm..sorry Sonakshi, as today is your first day, let me show you our office and get a look at different departments and meet department heads", she told me and I went with her. She gave me a full tour to the office and I met too many people, which I was sure I'm not going to remember their names by the second time they meet me.

After taking this round, I was back in my office and she showed me some files, which needed immediate action. I went to read them and while she went to her cubicle to type and correcting some files which was to be send by our department.

Like this whole day passed and in the evening I was back to my bunglow, this bunglow was specially granted to me by government. Aha, that's really something which comes as big perks of being an IES officer. Once reached, I lied down on my bed and called my mom up, telling her how my first day at office was. I told her to come to my city soon. But I got the same reply that my younger brother was having his 10th exam and they can't compromise changing city at such moment. To which I got disheartened and sadly cutted the call.

I checked the American time only to realise it must be 3 am in morning there and I shouldn't disturb my big bro at this time. He works in really big MNC over there.

Having no fun and no one with you is such a boring moment of life. Then I called my best friend Ritwik up. He worked in top IT company of India and got really nice perks of like Saturday being off and what not. I talked to him for sometime telling him how my first day went and scolded him how he should get himself a girlfriend coz it's his age to get settle down and marry. To which he laughed and after sometime we hanged up the call. He lives in Mumbai, quite far away from here.

I was scrolling by my mails when I heard a door bell only to found Rohini aunty standing with 2 big boxes of pizza with her.

"Sonakshi, this is your gift from me on successfully joining first day at office", she told me and hugged me. To which I thanked her and hugged her back. She told me as her husband and son went to a party in another city, so she have lot of free time to spend with me.

"Aunty , there was no need to do this, really. But Thank you", overwhelmed by her gesture, I told her and hugged her again.

Then we took out plates and we together had our pizza while watching a movie and after that she went to her house. She lives in next lane to my bunglow with her son who was still in college. His husband was working as B-grade officer in irrigation department that's why they were living in govt compartments. But she worked as nutritionist in hospital before getting retired and I used to be in her touch a lot during last 2 years of life. All credits for awesome figure and body goes to her. I was really happy and surprised knowing that she lives nearby my newly allocated bunglow. Apart from being a nutritionist, she cooks awesome food, I love her a lot.

Time passed by and there was nothing exciting as such to add in my life. Apart from I was getting awesome food by Rohini aunty daily and Elina becoming my good friend. We used to have our lunch together and do shopping on Sundays. Like this 3 months passed super soon. Still there were 6 months more to my lil bro completing her boards and mom dad coming here. I really missed them a lot.

Life was going smoothly until a file came to me for getting approval of construction of a new railway line by some company.  The railway line was needed for sure but the construction company, they haven't submitted the full documents. I just couldn't signed the file without seeing full documents and the file went rejected.
It was nothing new to me, every day tenders of lots of new companies came to me, but all these companies were a big fraud. They compromise on quality of material used and hence it's loss is faced by railways for not maintaining good construction lines and trains involving in accidents and people dying. So, my work was to make sure there is no compromise in quality of material used and results and testing once it's made.

I haven't signed the file but I didn't knew what kind of disatater I have done by not doing so.

Precap: "Who is she and how our file got rejected, you know how much hard I worked to get this project", I shouted in full anger on my manager coz he is such a useless fellow , couldn't get a simple file signed from a officer. If I lost this project than I will be losing billions, which I can't afford.

I called up my private detective, "Newly appointed IES officer in railways, I need full details about her within next 24 hours, got it. You better!" And hanged up on him.
