It's been a month since I met Accelerator. I haven't seen him again. I still remember what happened after the fight...

FLASHBACK

We continued walking in comfortable silence. It's obvious Accelerator is a man of few words. I don't know where we are going or why I am following him, but when I met him, I felt something. I don't know what it is, but all my senses shout to stay with him.

"Where are we going?"

Accelerator: "..............."

I hate when he does that. It makes me feel like I am being ignored.

"I don't know if you are deaf or just ignoring my question. But I asked you where we are going!"

Accelerator: "Do you always shout at people you just met? Because of your screams, I am starting to go deaf." He says, sticking his finger in his ear, "I don't care where you are going, but I am going to buy some things. SO STOP FOLLOWING ME AND SCREAMING LIKE THAT!"

"You know, I will follow you if I want. And you won't stop me."

Accelerator: "Tsk." He says while continuing his way without looking at me.

After that 'conversation,' we continue in silence. To distract myself, I start to look around. There are few people on the street; after all, it's very late, as I can see from a clock in front of a store.

Suddenly, Accelerator stops in front of an establishment. It's all white, with many items inside, and the sign says "supermarket." We enter, and he starts looking for some food, stopping in front of some black cylinder-shaped things.

I start looking and circling the place, but my eyes focus on one thing that looks delicious. It's like a circle, but it has another circle inside. It shines like the sun and looks perfect. I don't know how much time I spend admiring it, but when I come back to reality, I can't see Accelerator. I start looking around for him and finally find him waiting in line.

I approach him and say...

"Hey, you."

Accelerator: "What?" He says with an indifferent expression.

"What is that circle thing that looks delicious?"

Accelerator: "Are you talking about the donut?" He asks, raising an eyebrow.

"Is that their name? Oh my god, it fits so well with them!" I say, jumping around Accelerator. Tired of watching me jump, Accelerator grabs my arm, interrupting my special moment, and asks:

Accelerator: "Why did you ask?"

"Because I want one," I say with a puppy-dog face to convince him.

Accelerator: "So?"

"So, what?"

Accelerator: "If you want one so much, buy it."

"Yeah, that would be a good idea if there wasn't a problem," I say, feeling ashamed.

Catching on to what the problem is, Accelerator says seriously, "No."

"Oh, come on. It's only a little donut. It won't hurt you to do me this favor. I will make it up to you."

Accelerator: "I said no."

"Tsk. You are a very bad person. I HATE YOU. If I starve one day, it will be your fault, and it will weigh on your conscience for the rest of your life!" I say dramatically and leave the store, sitting next to the supermarket with my back against the wall. During this time, I start to think about my day.

Suddenly, I hear a voice saying:

"For you." A square of plastic is thrown at me, but I manage to catch it in the air. I analyze the object in my hands, finally connecting the dots and realizing it is the delicious treat I saw in the supermarket.

I raise my head to look at the generous person who bought me the donut. My eyes meet Accelerator's. So I do something I will regret in the future: I jump on Accelerator and hug him with everything I have. Before he can react, I quickly separate from the hug and start opening the donut package.

Out of the corner of my eye, I can see he looks surprised, though his feelings aren't conveyed through his facial expression. I just return my focus to my donut and continue opening it.

When I finish, I grab the donut with my right hand and start searching for a trash can to throw the plastic away. Accelerator takes the trash from me and walks over to throw it in the bin. The strange thing is that after he does this, he doesn't stop and continues walking. As he walks away, he says:

Accelerator: "See you never, angel."

End of Flashback

I would like to say I followed him, but I didn't, because I have to search for a lot of answers. Something tells me that day wasn't the last time I will see him. And when I meet him again in the future, I will never let him go, even if he doesn't want me to be with him. I recently met him, but he made me feel like I had known him all my life. I want to heal his scars and finally reveal all the secrets behind the dark.
