3 months later- I know that seems like a long time but it isn't

Adira's POV

Damien went on a trip after the ball, he went to help with the sick because of the new illness going around. I still haven't told Silus I love him but he doesn't seem too bothered. He's only mentioned it once after he told me in the garden. I will have to say it soon. I spend my days in the garden, drinking tea and reading books. Me Adira Heys reading books in the garden of a king while maids worked daily scrubbing the floors I walk on.

I am now onto step 2 of my life long plan. I watch Silus busy in his office all day long and wave to him when he sits on his balcony. I sleep in his bed at night, waiting for him to come and warm up the bed around me. I watch him fall asleep in my arms, his breath slow, his heart beat steadier than a painters hand. His mind seems empty of thought, problems gone, disappeared in the winter breeze.

In the mornings he brings me tea and we chat about all the things I read and I kiss him and we make love, every day. The same routine everyday, the same tea, the same, garden, the same bed and the same boring, unlovable man. I live with a man who knows nothing of romance. A man who thinks I want expensive gifts and balls and books whereas all I want is a friend. Someone I don't have to fake with or have to smile with all the time.
