"We should tell everyone that we're dating now, right?" Bluey asks.
"I would tell my family but they are back in Canada."
"Well.... Do you have a phone? You could text them."
"I forgot about my phone! I didn't use my phone on the plane ride to here. Merci beaucoup ! "
"You're welcome..."
As Jean Luc texts his parents, Bluey leans her body onto him, her head on his shoulder, smiling from ear to ear.
After a moment, Jean Luc breaks the silence and tells Bluey "My parents want to see you... I don't have enough signal on my phone for a video call so I wanted to take a picture of the both of us."
"Okay."
They pose, and before the picture is taken, Bluey asks, "Haven't your parents met me before?"
"I told them that it is someone who they have met before," he answers.
"Okay, I just wanted to know."
Jean Luc snaps the picture, then sends it to his parents.
After another moment, Jean Luc is excited. "My parents approve of us being together."
"Okay, we have the approval of one of our parents, now the other ones are left... Come with me."
As they walk to the caravan, they're holding hands. They walk beside the caravan and sees Muffin. Bluey hands over the book she borrowed and says, "Here's your book back."
"Thank y-," Muffin starts to say. With a look of confusion, she asks, "Who is this person you're holding hands with?"
With a smile on her face, she answers, "Come with me, I want to tell the whole family who he is."
Muffin shrugs, then gets up and walks behind the pair.
Bluey hides Jean Luc behind a nearby tree, rounded up all of the family around the fire pit, and proceeds to announce the news.
"Muffin already partially knows the news I am about to say, but I just wanna say that... I have a boyfriend!"
Bandit, mid-drink, spits it out and gets the liquid all over Stripe, who was cheering with the rest of the family.
"Who is this boyfriend?" Chilli asks.
"Just give me a second..." Bluey replies. She goes by the tree that Jean Luc was standing behind, brings him out.
"Everyone... This is Jean Luc. I think you all have met him before."
Everyone says hello and meets him. Bandit and Chilli look at each other, then tells Bluey to see them.
"So... What do you think of him?"
A second passes. At the same time, they say, "We approve."
Bluey hugs them around their necks and exclaims, "Thank you so much, Mum and Dad! This is the best day of my life."
"As long as you're happy, we're happy," Chilli tells Bluey.
Bandit looks at Jean Luc and mouths the words, "If you break her heart, it won't be good."
Everyone celebrates for the rest of the night. It was truly a momentous occasion for both Bluey and Jean Luc.
