"So, where is this next place you're talking me?" Bluey asks.

"I said that it is a surprise, I am not going to tell you what it is until we get there," Jean Luc answers.

"Come on! Why won't you tell me?"

"Because it will ruin the surprise that I have planned for you."

Bluey playfully pouts in her seat.

"Just wait for me. It will be worth it, I promise you."

They arrive at the park. Jean Luc gets out and goes to the other side of the jeep to let Bluey out. She has a look of confusion when she steps out.

"Please tell me why we're here!"

"We are here because it is where my surprise is, and that is all that I will tell you."

"Okay. I'm still going to hold your paw when we go on this walk!"

"I am totally fine with that," Jean Luc says as he extends his paw out to her. She takes his paw in hers and starts the stroll.

As they walk, she starts to think about what this "surprise" will be... Meeting his parents? No, they're in Canada... Plane tickets to see his parents? No, too impractical, they can just video call... But they may want to meet me in person, so that idea will stay with me for now.

They finally get to a part of the park where there is a tower viewer. Jean Luc checks his watch, then reaches into his pocket.

"I need you to do something for me."

"What is it?"

"Do you see that plane up there? The one with the blinking red light?"

"Yes, but I can barely see it."

"Here, I have a quarter. Insert it into there and look up at it."

Without hesitation, she takes the quarter, inserts it into the slot, tries to look at the plane. When she finally sees it, there is a banner waving behind it. The banner says "Bluey, veux-tu m'épouser?"

Clueless, she asks him, "Does 'm'épouser' mean what I believe it means?"

She turns to him and sees him with a smile on his face, knelt down, and he has a beautiful diamond ring in his paw.

In a state of shock, she starts crying years of joy. "Oui, bien sûr que je vais vous épouser!"

He gets up and starts crying with her. He embraces her in a huge hug, lifting her off of the ground.

As he sets her back down again, she kisses him. He slips the ring on her finger and says, "Je t'aime toujours, mon petite amie."

Still in tears, she says, "Non! Maintenant, c'est fiancé."

She rubs her cheeks and notices her makeup has been running down her face.

"Oh no! I need to get cleaned up before we get home!"

"That would be a really good idea. Let's get you to a proper washroom."

They go to the closest washroom to let Bluey clean up her face. She washes all of her makeup off into the sink, then she leaves and goes to the jeep again.

"Let's go home! I can't wait to tell everybody!" Bluey says, excited.
