Bluey and Jean Luc go back to being in what seemed like an endless hug in silence (to prevent anyone else from peeping in on their business). After a little while, Jean Luc breaks the ice and says, "Bluey... J'ai une question..."
Interested, she replies, "Okay, ask the question."
"How would you like to go on a date with me some time within this week?"
Bluey gasps in surprise. "I would love to! But..."
"Is there something wrong?"
"I don't know if I can... I've never been on a date before."
"It is just fine, I will take you to any place you want and we can have the night of our lives!" Jean Luc tells her.
Without making the door creak, Bingo, Muffin, and Socks barely open the door and start spying on Bluey and Jean Luc.
"You might want to talk to my parents about that too, just to let them know that you wish to take me on a date so that they know where we'll be," Bluey carries on, unaware.
"That was going to be the next item on my agenda that I was going to cross off."
He stops hugging Bluey and goes to get up. He notices the other three girls in the doorway and quietly whispers to Bluey, "Hey, your sister and cousins have been spying on us," then he chuckles.
Then they hear the door close and all three of them start running away from the door.
In a flash, Bluey gets up and starts running after them.
While she's finding them, Jean Luc finds Bandit and Chilli in the kitchen. "Monsieur et Madame Heeler, I have a question to ask you."
"Ask away," Bandit says, then takes a drink of water.
"May I take your daughter on a date some time this week?"
Bandit spits his water. Stunned, he turns to Chilli and says, "Come with me for a moment," turns back to Jean Luc and says, "Give us a moment please."
"I will give you a moment."
Bandit and Chilli go into the living room. Bandit starts the conversation with, "Do you think Bluey is ready for a date?"
"Bandit, she is 18 years old, she is technically an adult. Why not let her have fun?"
"But this is her FIRST DATE if she goes!"
"Come on honey... Jean Luc is a good kid, he won't do anything to hurt her in any way possible..."
After a quick thought, he stays silent and turns back toward the kitchen, where Jean Luc is still waiting.
"Me and Chilli have decided that you can go on a date with Bluey-"
"Oh, merci beaucoup, monsieur Heeler ! "
Bandit cuts him off and says, "On the condition that you don't do anything to hurt her, physically, emotionally, mentally, any way."
Jean Luc replies with, "I would never hurt her. I promise you that I will keep your daughter safe!... Again, merci beaucoup!"
"You're welcome, Jean Luc. Tell us where you'll take her on the day that you do decide to take her out."
"You have my word!"
