Chapter 3

Jessica POV

"Paul think about what we just did" I said. I got no response. "Do you think I would make out with someone if I didn't like them?" I asked. He shook his head but still didn't turn around to face me.

I moved over so my chest was against his bare back. "Pauly please don't be mad at me" I said gently stroking his stomach/abs. I felt him shiver slightly and I smiled. "Please?" I asked kissing his shoulder blade. "Paul please talk to me" I said kissing the same spot I did before. I moved my hand up Paul's stomach and started to stroke the side of his face. "Paul you can't ignore me forever" I whispered. I sat up a little and kissed his cheek. Then I trailed kisses down his neck to his collar bone.

"Are you even awake?" I asked. He nodded slightly. "I'll sit on you" I threatened. He still didn't say anything. I pushed him so he was laying on his back and I sat on his stomach. Amusement sparkled in his green eyes. "This is not funny Mr Zimmer" I said trying to sound serious. I could tell he was seconds away from losing it because he was trying so hard not to smile.

"If you don't talk to me right now then I will go and squeeze into Justin's sleeping bag with him" I said. "Fine" Paul said. "Good" I said. "So you like me?" Paul asked. "Very much" I said. "I like you very much as well" Paul said. "I'm glad to hear that" I said. Paul laughed quietly and pulled me down on top of him. "Do you realise that it's 4 o'clock?" I asked. "Wow" he said.

"We should get some sleep" I said. Paul nodded in agreement. I rolled off of Paul and he pulled me to him do my back was against his chest. He wrapped his arms around me and I held his hand. He slung his leg over mine and kissed the side of my head. "Night Jess" Paul said. "Night Paul" I replied before falling asleep.

~next morning~

I woke up feeling Paul's arms around me. I could also feel his little 'friend' poking me in the thigh. I saw a note on my bedside table from Lani and Justin. It said: we have gone to get breakfast. We'll be back soon. You guys look cute together :)

I smiled. I could hear Paul snoring quietly. He wrapped his arms tighter around my torso. About ten minutes later he woke up. "Morning" he said sleepily. "Morning. You seem happy to see me" I said. He soon realised what I was talking about and jumped back. "Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry Jess" he said looking embarrassed. "You don't need to be embarrassed Paul. I don't care" I said. "I'm still sorry though" he said. I laughed and kissed him. We pulled away after a few minutes. "Where are Lani and Justin?" Paul asked. "They went to find food" I explained.

"What do you want to do?" I asked. "Stay in bed with you all day" he said. I laughed. He stroked my leg and I snuggled into his chest. "How long have you liked me?" Paul asked. "Since I first saw you" I said. "Me too" Paul grinned. I kissed his chest and smiled.

"I'm going to get dressed" I said after about half an hour of just laying there. "Ok" Paul said. I got out of bed and walked into my bathroom. I had a shower and got dressed. "You can have a shower if you want" I said to Paul. "Ok" he replied and then he went into the bathroom. I remembered that I hadn't given Paul his clothes back. I went into the laundry and found Paul's clothes. I walked back into my room and I knocked on the bathroom door.

"Paul can I come in?" I called. "I'm in the shower" he replied. "I know but I have your clothes" I said. "Come in then" he said. I opened the door and walke into the bathroom. Paul had the shower curtain pulled across so I couldn't see him. "I'll leave them on the bench" I said. "Ok" he replied. "Do you mind if I stay for a minute to do my makeup?" I asked. "That's fine" he said. I put on foundation and mascara and a bit of brown eyeliner.

I heard a knock on the door. "Jess?" My step mum Rosalie called. "I'm in the shower" I replied. "I just need my mascara. We are about to go out" she said. I carefully stepped into the shower an put my hand over Paul's mouth. He was clearly shocked that I just jumped in here. "Fine. Come in" I said. I heard the door open and close.

"So what did you do last night?" She asked. "Lani, Justin and Paul stayed over" I said. "Did you guys have fun?" She asked. "Yeah. But I can't really talk because I'm getting shampoo I'm my eyes and mouth" I said. "Sorry. I'll see you later" she said. I heard the door open and close and then I took my hand off of Paul's mouth.

"Sorry" I said. "It's alright" he said laughing and turning around. I couldn't help myself and looked down. "I can feel you watching me" Paul said. I jumped back and slipped. A second later I felt Paul holding my arms. I stood up slowly. "Thanks" I said. "That's alright" he said. I kissed him gently. "I'll get out now" I said blushing because I remembered he was naked. "Ok" Paul said. I stepped out of the shower and dried my legs. Luckily my shorts weren't to wet.

I went back into my room and saw Lani and Justin sitting on the floor. "Where were you?" Lani asked. "In the bathroom" I replied. "Where's Paul?" Justin asked. "In the shower" I said. "In the same bathroom you were just in?" Lani asked. I nodded. "Why is your hair dripping?" Justin asked. "I was in the shower" I said. "With Paul?" Lani asked. "Not for long. Rosalie came in so I had to jump in the shower so she wouldn't know that Paul was in there" I said. "Ok. Did you see him naked?" Justin asked. "If this is an interrogation I want a lawyer" I said. They laughed.

A minute later Paul came out of he bathroom. Lani and Justin smiled at him. "What?" He asked. "Nothing" they said. "Paul you are my lawyer now. They were interrogating me" I said. "We're done now" Lani said. "Good" I replied. "We are going to watch tv" Justin said. "Kk" I replied. They left the room and I felt Paul spin me around. "That was interesting" he said. "Yes it was" I replied. He kissed me and pulled me closer to him.

He pulled away after a minute and I saw Lani standing there grinning. "Don't let me stop you. I just came to get a hair tie" she said. She found one and left the room. "Jess will you be my girlfriend?" Paul asked. I nodded and he hugged me. We walked to the living room hand in hand. Justin looked shocked when he saw us and Lani was grinning from ear to ear.

"So you guys are going out now?" Justin asked. I nodded and smiled. "Cool" he said. We sat on and around the couch. It was only a two seater so Justin sat on the floor, I sat on Paul's lap and Lani sat beside me. I put my head on Paul's shoulder. "Does anyone want a coke?" I asked. Everyone said yes so I got up to get it. When I came back I saw Justin glaring at Paul and Paul just looked confused. "Everything ok guys?" I asked. "I think so" Paul said. I gave everyone their coke and sat down again. "Is everything alright?" I whispered in Paul's ear. He shrugged. Paul had his arms wrapped around me and was holding me close to him.

"Can we watch paranormal activity 2?" Justin asked. Everyone agreed so we put it on. Halfway through the movie I was freaked out and I buried my head in Paul's chest. He stroked my hair and pulled me closer to him.

Finally the movie ended and I was so scared that I was close to tears. "Paul can you check my room and bathroom please?" I asked. He nodded an stood up. I thought I was going to go crashing to the floor but Paul held me bridal style and carried me to my room. I waited by my door. I heard someone come down the hallway. I looked around and saw it was only Justin. "Hey" I said smiling. "Hey" he replied.

Paul POV

I left Jess outside her room so I could check for demons and monsters. I checked the closet and under the bed and behind the curtains, then I checked her bathroom. When I was sure her room was demon free I walked out of her room and saw Justin and Jess kissing. I felt my heart break into a million little pieces.

Jess looked at me and gasped. I ran down the hall and outside. "Paul wait" I heard Jess call. I ran next door to my house and went up to my room.
