Chapter 11

Chapter 11

Jess POV

After a few hours of hanging out with Paul's family, Paul and I went back to the hotel. "That was fun" I said sitting down on the bed to take off my shoes. "Yeah" Paul replied.

"So what do you want to do?" Paul asked. "Watch tv?" I suggested. "Sure" Paul said turning on the tv. I sat on the couch next to Paul and put my head on his shoulder.

Dog With A Blog came on and we watched it mostly in silence. I felt Paul inteock his fingers with mine and I smiled to myself. I don't think I've ever been this happy.

"Do your parents care that we haven't been doing anything with them?" I asked. "They're cool with it" Paul replied. "That's good. When we get back don't tell my dad about us having our own room" I said. "He'd kill me" Paul said laughing. I nodded in agreement.

"You know what we should do?" I asked. "What?" Paul asked. "Have a pillow fight" I said grinning. Paul grinned and hit me in the face with a cushion that was beside him. I laughed and hit him back with a pillow that I had been leaning on.

He jumped up off the couch and whacked the top of my head. I laughed and jumped up and chased him around the room.

I hit Paul's back and he spun around and tried to catch me. I jumped over the back of the couch but got my foot caught and fell onto the floor with a thud. Paul then tripped over me and landed mostly on top of me.

I laughed hysterically for a few minutes before I felt Paul's lips on mine. Things started to get heated when I had an idea. I slowly reached beside me and then hit Paul as hard as I could with the pillow.

The plan backfired when he bit my lip. "Ouch" I said. "I'm sorry" he said looking guilty. "Don't worry about it, it was my fault anyway" I said. "I still feel bad" he said. "Dude relax, I'm fine" I said laughing. Paul got off of me and helped me up.

We sat on the couch and watched more tv for a while. It started to get dark and I started to get hungry. "Do you want to get food?" Paul asked. I nodded and we walked out of the hotel. We wandered around for a while before ending up in Burger King.

I just got some fries and a coke but as usual Paul ordered about a thousand different things. We ate and talked for a while before going back to the hotel.

I had a shower and got into my pyjamas and then got into bed. I turned on the TV while I waited for Paul to have a shower. I flicked through the channels until I saw Family Guy. I smiled and laughed while I watched the episode. "What're you laughing at?" Paul asked, emerging from the bathroom with a smile on his face.

"Family Guy is on" I said smiling at him. "I love this episode" he stated looking at the TV. "Same" I replied. Paul climbed into bed beside me and pulled me closer to him. "I love you so much" Paul said. I just stared at him.

"Oh shit" he mumbled getting out of bed and going into the bathroom. I jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom. "Paul please come out" I said knocking on the door. "No" he said. "Why not?" I asked. "Because I said I loved you and you didn't say anything" he said. "Yeah well you left before I could say anything" I said.

Paul didn't come out so I sighed and got back into bed. After about ten minutes I felt Paul climb into bed. I turned over and looked at him. "So you love me?" I asked. Paul nodded. "Why?" I asked. "What do you mean?" Paul asked looking confused. "Why would anyone love me?" I asked. "Jess you are perfect in every single way. Anyone would have to be crazy not to love you" Paul said. "That's so sweet" I said kissing his cheek.

Paul pulled me close him so that our chests were touching. "You are the most amazing person I have ever met" Paul said. I smiled at him and felt myself blushing. He kissed me softly and pretty soon it was getting heated.

Paul started to pull my shirt over my head but then stopped. "Is this alright?" He asked. I nodded and he pulled my shirt the rest of the way off and tossed it onto the floor. I pulled his shirt off and threw it onto the floor. He ran his warm hands across my stomach and then to the waist band of my shorts.

"Is this ok?" Paul asked. I nodded and he pulled off my shorts. I pulled off his pants so we were both left in our underwear.

I woke up snuggled into the side of Paul. He opened his eyes and smiled at me. "Morning Jess" he said kissing the top of my head. "Morning" I replied not being able to stop the smile that had plastered itself across my face.

"Last night was amazing" Paul said. I nodded in agreement. "I'm sorry that I hurt you" he said sadly. "Babe I'm honestly fine. That was the best night of my life" I said.

We spent the next hour just laying in bed, talking and enjoying each others' company. When we eventually got up and got dressed it was around 11 o'clock. "Let's go get some food" Paul said. We walked our of the hotel hand in hand and wandered around until we finally decided on something we both wanted to eat.

We went into a diner and sat down in a booth. "Hi I'm Shaye and I'll be your waitress this morning" our waitress said when she came over, "oh my god! Paul!" She gave Paul a hug and I just sat there awkwardly not really sure of how to react to the situation. "Shaye this is my girlfriend Jess. Jess this is Shaye" Paul said introducing us. "It's nice to meet you" I said smiling at her. "Mhmm" she nodded at me.

I looked away from her as she continued to flirt with MY boyfriend. I took the chance to look over the menu. I decided that I would get waffles and a peach iced tea. "Paul what are you going to get?" I asked. He ignored me and continued talking to Shaye. I sighed and gave him a kick in the shin. "What was that for?" Paul asked. "What are you going to get?" I asked again. "I'll get the pancakes. Jess what are you going to get?" Paul asked. "Waffles" I said.

Shaye scurried off and into the kitchen or wherever it was that she went. I didn't care really I just wanted her to go away. I glared at a speck on the table. "What's wrong?" Paul asked. "Nothing" I said. He left me alone and pulle out his phone. My phone vibrated in my pocket so I looked at what it was. 'Hey it's Danny. Just wondering if you wanted to hang out today?'

I hit rey and typed out 'sounds good. Just having breakfast with Paul now. Wanna meet up around 12:30?' I hit send and waited for him to reply.

'Sure :)' he replied a minute later. I put my phone away and waited for the food to arrive. About ten minutes later the food got to our table and Shaye continued to flirt with Paul. I would have to ask Danny what the deal with her is.

We ate in silence and then started walking back to the hotel. "Seriously Jess what's wrong?" Paul asked. "Nothing" I replied. "Well you've been in a pissy mood since breakfast so something's wrong" Paul said. "Paul I'm fine" I said. He sighed.

"What are we going to do today?" He asked. "I was actually going to hang out with Danny. Is that alright?" I asked. "Oh sure. I'll catch up with some of my other friends while you guys hang out" Paul said. "Ok. Well I'm meeting him in about ten minutes so I should start heading over to the skatepark now" I said. "Do you want me to walk you there?" Paul asked.

"I'll be fine" I said. I have Paul a quick kiss before walking to the skatepark. "Hey Jess" Danny said when he arrived. "Hey Danny" I replied. "What's wrong?" He asked sitting on the bench beside me. "What do you know about a girl called Shaye?" I asked.

"Well her and Paul had a thing that was kind of on and off for a couple of years. They were really close and stuff and she's a total bitch. Anything else you want to know?" Danny asked. I shook my head. "Thanks" I said smiling.

We spent a few hours hanging out at the skatepark and I actually got onto Danny's skateboard but quickly got off when it started rolling.

"I should probably go now" I said. "Ok. Don't let Shaye get to you" Danny said hugging me. "I won't. Bye" I said. "See ya" Danny replied. I walked back to the hotel and opened the door. I was shocked by what I saw. "What the fuck is going on?!" I yelled.
