My Special Valentine - Drink

~ Dream's POV ~
I walked down the side of the road, a bit frustrated, and hopeless at the fact that I'd probably find no one to be my valentine. Everyone I've asked have either said no, or said they already had one. ..The chances were everyone had already found one, because I was too late in asking. ..But I shouldn't be getting frustrated over something like this, I should be happy that they found someone at least. I mean, I'm the guardian of positivity. What am I, besides just being a positive freak? I'm practically radiating with positivity, after all. I huffed, continuing to walk, a bit lost in thought. I wouldn't be able to bring anyone to the Valentine's Day Party, would I? I mean, maybe I forgot to mention that first. I don't remember who the actual host is, but someone's hosting a party for Valentine's Day, and the only requirement is that you either have to bring a date, or a friend, and I was told about this by Ink. All of my friends were already with someone, so I wouldn't actually be able to attend. I mean, it's just a party anyways- ..Why do I feel so disappointed..? Jeez- I might as well just take a break for today. The party was tomorrow, and I didn't have to go. I could just be doing what I normally do, maybe organize a few things, catch up on some stuff I missed out on, and so on. And then there it was- All of a sudden, my mind clicked, as if getting an idea. My eye lights had switched to stars, a bright smile appearing on my face. I know- What if I asked Ink? I mean, he probably didn't have anyone asking him anyways!

I portalled over towards this house he made some time ago. Yeah- It's kind of weird, but that's just how Ink is, isn't he? He had given both me and Blue a spare key to his house some time ago, so I had pulled it out from my pocket, about to put the key in the lock when all of a sudden I heard something. Lightly squeaking, and teleporting to the side, sneaking my head out slightly to see who it was- I got surprised when I saw Error, the destroyer, there. What was he doing at Ink's house? How did he know where he lived? Or was it by guess? I wasn't sure. Just continuing to watch, hiding my aura, as to not get caught, and watched. He had knocked on the door, and you could hear a bit of shuffling from inside, assumingly from Ink. A few moments later, the door had opened, and I could just barely see Ink there. "Oh, Hi Error. What are you doing here?" Ink had questioned, as if greeting an old friend. Huh? I mean- How was he so calm? I mean, sure, he's Ink- But that's Error! The destroyer! I mean, unless they had some sort of truce that he had forgotten to tell us, but wouldn't we have known at one point? Pushing away my thoughts, and going back to focusing on what they were talking about. "Hey, squid. I have a question to ask." Error went. What question? "Mhm?" Ink had made a sound of curiosity, it being a way of saying, 'go on'. "I wanted to ask, if you wanted to go to the Valentine's Day Party with me." Wh- What-?! He- ..If I was going to be honest- ..I had a bit of a crush on the artist, so I could just feel my soul aching at the thought of him and Error together. "Ah, sorry. I already had someone else in mind that I wanted to go with." Ink had replied. He- Someone else..? ..Who was that someone- No. I shouldn't be prying. It wasn't right either to be eavesdropping. Mentally sighing, about to go back, just hearing the sounds of a glitchy portal opening up, meaning Error had just left. I could just hope Ink had a good time with whoever he was gonna go with. In my moment of heartbreak, I hadn't realized I had accidentally unhid my aura, causing Ink to be able to know I was there. Of course, I didn't realize this until later, when I had started feeling a pair of hands gently pull me into a hug. I jumped, tensing up immediately, and looking back, only to calm down shortly after. It was Ink, giving me a surprise hug. Wait- How did he even know I was here? "Hey Dream- What are you doing here?" I blinked for a moment, before then registering the question. "Oh, I thought I should try visiting, you know- I should probably leave now though, don't wanna be a bother-" Trying to find some sort of excuse to leave, and failing miserably. "..Dream. What's wrong? You seem a bit off." ..Huh- Off? I mean, I was probably kinda being a bit frantic. "Nothing- I just-" And then I stopped talking, the moment one of his eye lights had changed from a question mark, to an exclamation point. He realized what it was, didn't he- "Dream- If it is what I'm thinking about- ..You're the one who I wanted to bring with me to the Valentine's Day Party." I was shocked. He wanted to bring me? ..Well that was definitely surprising. "So do you accept?" He asked. I nodded, feeling my cheeks heat up a light golden yellow. 

..And that, was the start of where we became inseparable, two peas in a pod. We had started going everywhere with each other, finding the other both fun to talk to. Ink had mentioned that, even though he was soulless, he was starting to be able to feel things. ..Maybe it was my aura- ..But, it made me happy. ..Maybe I'll tell him how I feel, one day. Just, maybe not now. Cause, after all. He was my special valentine, and I didn't wanna ruin that just yet.
