~ Ink's POV ~
I had shot up immediately from my bed. Eyes widened before taking deep breaths, noticing I was crying, and wiping it immediately. God.. Another nightmare. I'd have to talk to Sci about that. I got up slowly, quickly getting changed before walking to the door and opening it, to see the Stars were gone. I sighed, glaring at my phone to see a text saying, 'Nightmare and his gang is causing trouble.' from Dream. I stretched a bit before quickly grabbing Broomie and making a portal. Assumingly, I went to the one with negativity coming from it. Looking around, my thought was right on. God, my head hurts. Most likely from stress. I sighed, I'd have to deal with that later. I ran over to where Dream and Blue were, to see them getting pummeled into the ground by Nightmare's tentacles. How overrated. I slapped some paint over goopy boi here and it got him to let go. Heh- I immediately ran over to them to pull them back onto their shoes. "Sorry I was late!" I said cheerfully like my usual self. Just, I guess my fighting style gets more rougher the more stressful it is or something cause DAMN I slammed Dust into the ground face first! At least that helped a bit. God, I couldn't get him out of my head.. Gin.. Holding my head a bit, I shook it off. I told myself I'd deal with it LATER. I shook my body a bit before focusing on what was going on. I blasted Killer, who was a little bit TOO close to Blue, and ducked immediately after. If I had a soul, it would be beating like crazy at the moment blue strings had went by, and instead grabbing the poor tree that was behind me. Instead, he pulled it down, hoping to crush me. Turning into ink, I immediately teleported behind Blue, and blocking an attack coming from Dust with Broomie. I took a second to stare at them. Dream was trying to shoot positivity arrows at Nightmare, Blue was trying to cover him, god. We REALLY needed more people. Immediately, I turned my attention back to Dust who had gotten behind me and held me hostage. I struggled a bit, panicking, before remembering something. I kicked Broomie in an angle to where it'd be hit up, grabbing it with my now free hand and hitting Dust in the rib with the end of the handle. Him letting go and coughing a bit I immediately ran to the others to cover them too. Out of nowhere the head pain came back, spiking again. I think they started catching on that there was something going on and took this chance to kick Blue away from Dream & me. I immediately looked around to see Blue in pain. Frick. Blue's too far. If I go now, they could ambush Dream while I was saving Blue. Worst case scenario, Nightmare would get at him. If  I didn't though, Blue could be in danger. There's no time to lose. I used a bone, spiking up in the ground to signal to Blue. Dream noticed. I mean, after all, we had practiced with signals. Immediately, I spun around in a circle, aiming for getting them all with Broomie spraying paint and using that paint to tie them up. Dream ducked, Blue kicked Dust in the shin, pushing him off and ducking. It got everyone- Except something was wrong with my paint. Blue immediately ran over as I thought about it. It wasn't as thick as usual, meaning it was weaker. At least I saved Blue. I sighed as they broke through it, preparing again for any attacks. That's when I suddenly felt a portal underneath me pull me through somewhere, slipping through. It looks like Blue noticed last minute because he then pushed Dream, knowing how since I was now vulnerable, they were all in danger. Considering the fact that they basically just lost ONE person and they literally lost nONE! I fell through the entire portal to end up in a bit of the forest nearby. I took a sigh of relief, knowing it wouldn't be that far of a run back when blue strings had quickly wrapped me around a tree. Frick. I let my guard down. After a few minutes of struggling, I ripped the entire tree off. Dang. Falling over as the tree had faded into missing code. I took a sigh of relief, slipping the strings off and running back into battle to see Dream in the ground and stuck there by Nightmare. Blue couldn't move due to damage by Dust. I looked around in panic, only to see Killer sitting on the edge of a giant rock. Error's locations were still missing. I only saw his strings.  Frick. I thought for too long. That's when Error had gotten his strings around me, making me trapped. I struggled a bit until all of a sudden there was a bright light.. I kept my eyes open, unlike the others, to see.. Something.. A skeleton.. The moment I saw that crack in the skeleton's face, that's when I knew. Tears had started welling up in my eyes. Out of all of it, I stopped caring. Due to Error still closing his eyes, as well as every one, I was able to quickly get out of them. They had also stopped hurting Blue and Dream. I mean, that was the least of my worries right now. The moment I fell to the ground, I instantly ran as said figure had started falling down, there wings being useless. They might not be conscious. And so, I ran as fast as I could. Not giving a frick. The moment Nightmare had regained eyesight as the light was gone, he realized, shooting his tentacles at me. At that time everyone else noticed too. I still hadn't, until his tentacle had reached so close to me that I could literally SEE it- For it to just be.. Burned.. Somehow..? Nightmare had yelled out, "Ow!" Was there a barrier around me? I didn't think about it. So close to the skeleton, I saw Error's strings reaching for it, figuring out what I was doing. I ran faster, if that could even work, and jumped up, catching said skeleton in the jump and barely missing the strings. Carefully using my magic to make sure he wouldn't die. Not again. And for him to safely land. That's when his eyes had started to open. As I noticed his eyes, the tears started gushing down. I stood up slowly. The others were confused why they couldn't do anything. To them, this was the first time I was ever sad, and acting like this. "A-Are you real..?" I stuttered out. I couldn't tell if I was dreaming.. I noticed he took a second before answering. "I'm real, Ink." He said softly. I hugged him, crying into his shoulder. After a few minutes, the tears had started slowing down. I held his skull before pulling it towards me, kissing him. After a few seconds, I let go. "You idiot.." I started. "You left too soon." Continuing. He held me by my cheek, worry on his face. That's when I assume he noticed I wasn't getting enough sleep. I'm betting he thought it was because of him. He took a deep breath before laying me on his chest. "Go to sleep for me, alright? Don't worry." He said softly. I can handle being able to stay up but when I'm laying down or so close to sleeping, I kind of struggle. So in my sleepiness, I forgot about everything around me. Just focusing on my everything. I smiled before falling asleep. I could just hear faintly people asking him questions.
~ Gin's POV ~
I looked at them for a bit before smiling. Ink had found others- That's good. "if you guys could have a truce, that'd be really appreciated. At least for the time being. Ink here needs some rest. So if you need me, I'll be at Ink's." I had said before I teleported me and him to his room. I mean, he always writes things in his scarf in case he forgets. Placing him carefully on his bed, I smiled. I was finally back with you. I considered leaving before quickly remembering he was afraid of being alone. I sighed, smiling, before holding his hand. Making sure he knew he wasn't alone.
