Comfort - Crink

~ Ink's POV ~
I sighed as I checked off every other AU. Where was Cross? At this point everyone started getting worried. And of course, they were busy. An AU seemed almost highlighted to me. XTale. He's there isn't he? I took a deep breath, preparing to comfort him. As I went to the AU, I looked around for a bit until I saw a lone skeleton. I walked over to him quietly before doing a surprise hug. He tensed up a bit before realizing it was me. "Ink?" Cross had said. I just smiled back at him as I sat down beside him. Tears had started streaming down his face. I hugged him. Positioning us so he could cry on my shoulder. "Shh.. let it all out." Cross has always usually been mysterious, not really mentioning much. Us, being friends for awhile, I knew a few of them. A few minutes passed when he started. I felt him moving a bit, and he got off my shoulder, wiping his tears. "H-Hey Ink?" He said, I could still see the pain in his voice. It was still affecting him. With a worried look, I replied, "Yeah?" He looked at me. And smacked our non existent lips together. I could feel my cheeks heating up. Cross, was.. KISSING me!? A few seconds passed, and he stopping. I was, still confused. And that's when it hit me. He LIKED me. And that's when I realized, I liked him back without realizing. My cheeks had heated up more, to where it was obvious I was blushing a literal rainbow. Cross had started seeming unsure with what he just did. I noticed. Maybe it was the silence. So I picked up all my confidence, and kissed him, before stopping shortly after. "I love you too, Cross." I said. Hearts in my eyes. And we just laid there, enjoying the moment, before drifting off into our dreams.

Author's Note: Jeez, 3 in a row with Ink. Tbh, I personally used to not really like Crink, as I saw Cross and Ink like brothers, but eh, just a change of heart.
