I was in my room when my bedroom door open and Vinnie walks in « Hey baby » he says with a big smile « Heyyy » I say and I get up from the bed to hug him He picks me up and then we go downstairs « Hey , where are we going » I say chuckling He doesn't respond but before we leave my mom says « Hey Vinnie . Where are you guys going » « Hey Y/m/n. (your mother's name)I take her out of her bedroom » he says and giggle « Have fun » my moms says « Bye » me and Vinnie tell her in the same time before he close the door behind me Vinnie returned from University not long ago « Baby pleaseeeeee, tell me where are we going » I say « Ok ok we are going to our spot » he says puting me down « Mhm ok » I say grabbing his hand while we walk to the field The field is actually a really important thing for us , he asked me to be his girlfriend there and basically everytime we wanted to be by ourselves we were going there , or when we were mad on our parents There are a lot of memories and promises that haven't been broken that have been made in that place « And what are we doing there? » I ask « Mhm maybe a picnic , I don't know » he says « Awesome » I say
We arrive there and yes there was a blanket on the ground and a picnic basket that were waiting for us It is summer and it's around 7 pm and the sun is slowly setting I cover my mouth with my hand and I look at Vinnie and then we go to lie there We eat some cupcakes and different sweets that Vinnie bring here « I made these » he says and then he takes a bite from a cupcake « Mhm » I say and look at him like 'hm i don't belive you' furrowing my eyebrows « Well , me and my mother » he says after he swallows and I giggle We lie then on our backs looking at the sky and talk about different things like we always did He stands up , but I remain on my back. He stretched his hand so I can grab his hand to stand up and this is what I do « Yes? » I say while I was looking up at him « Do you remember the promise I made 4 years ago here? » he asks while playing with his rings nervously « Yes » I say and then he looks at me (SUMMERTIME SADNESS JUST CAME ON THE PLAYLIST LIKE RN LMFAO) « You said that our love story will never end » I say « Well , now that we are again together » he says while dragging from his pocket a small box that looked like a ring box « I also told you that I plan on making you my wife one day » he says « So , will you marry me? » he asks me while laying on one knee opening the box My eyes start to become watery « Yes » I say with no hesitation He grins and take the ring and he puts it on my hands that were trembling , he cups my face in his big hands and he rubs his thumbs over my cheeks wiping away the tears of joy that were falling from my eyes I put my hands on his chest and we kiss passionately No promises that were made here have broken , we always put faith in each other , we believed in each other and no one will tear us apart « I love you so much » He whispers after he breaks the kiss and puts his head on my shoulder « I love you more » I say and we giggle
We spent a little bit more time on the field and then we returned to our parents to tell them the big news They were so happy they didn't even though that we were still young , they said that they always thought that this day will come
2 years later
I hear our bedroom door open and then I hear his voice « I arrived baby » « Coming » I say while leaving the bathroom and seeing Vinnie staying on the edge of the bed « Hey » he says in a soft voice I'm kind of nervous of what I'm gonna say to Vinnie « Hey » I say and go closer to him « Vin » I say « Ya? » he responds I come closer to him and I say « I , I- I'm pregnant » I first see a small smile in the corner of his mouth that then transformes in a grin I go close to him , now staying right in front of him He drags me in a hug while one of his hands is on my back and one on my tummy. He taps my nose with his nose and he smiles widely then I feel his plump lips over mine while I put my hand over his that was still on my stomach
3 years later
The front door opens and Vinnie comes in the house panting « Hey girls » he says when he enters the house and me and our daughter were playing « Dad » she says while running towards him. I put down the toys that I was holding and I go to Vinnie as well « Hey » I say when I arrive near them Vinnie was already holding our daughter in one of his arms and he gives her a kiss on her forehead Then he gives me a peck on my lips and then he asks « Movie? » « Movie » I say and give him another peck on his lips I pick our girl from his arm so he can give his jacket off « What movie do you want to watch baby? » I ask her « Mhm I don't know mommy » she says and we chuckle Vinnie then joins us and then we watch a movie
3 years later
« Dad , what happened ? » our 5 yo asks her dad « Um you'll have a little brother or sister » he says and she smiles widely « Really? » she says excited « Really » I say entering the room they were in I sit down near Vinnie and I put my arm around him and he puts his arm around me as well « Thanks mom » she says giving me a kiss on my forehead « Thanks dad » she continues giving Vinnie a kiss on his cheek
4 years later
I lay my head on Vinnie shoulder as we look at our 2 beautiful children playing on that field. He puts his head over mine « I love you Y/n » « I love you too Vinnie »
