Y/n's pov

I make part of the Hype house and Vinnie is my best friend , we have been friends since we were like 14
We tell each other everything and we are really close
Well , he's dating Nailea , they seem happy but lately I realize that Nai has been pretty distant
From what Vinnie tells me , Nailea has been kinda 'busy' so she can't really hang with Vinnie a lot

I was downstairs with Mia , we were both laughing our lungs out at a funny tik tok we found when we hear footsteps approaching just to see Vinnie
« Hey » he says
« Hi Vinnie » we respond and go back to our tik tok while he goes to the front door unlocking it
« Hey » we hear a girl's voice
« Hey baby » Vinnie says hugging Nailea
"Can we talk?" I hear her saying
"Yes , let's go upstairs" Vinnie responds and they walk upstairs
"Hey Nai" me and Mia say and she waves

Not much longer we hear them talking really loud but we didn't think too much about it , but like after 2 minutes a door slammed and the next thing I know it's Nailes running to the front door leaving the house
Strange , Vinnie would normally lead her to the front door
"I'm going real quick to Vinnie. Be right back" I say making my way upstairs

I hear quiet sobs from Vinnie's room and I knock on the door
"Vin?" I ask
"Mhm" he hums
"Can I come in?" I ask
"Yes" he responds
I open the door just to see him on the middle of the bed with his head in his hands
I sit right next to him putting my hand  on his back rubbing it trying to calm him down since he was sobbing really hard at the moment
"Vinnie , calm down please. What happened?" I ask putting my free hand on his face dragging it closer to me and he puts his head on my chest
"She cheat- cheated" he says stuttering
"Wha-? I'm so sorry Vinnie , you don't deserve this" I say caressing his head
"She said she won't cheat cause she loves me" he says crying
"She said she won't cheat cause she knows I went through this before" he continues renting
"She didn't actually say , she promised"
"She promised Y/n" he says his hands now around my ways holding me so thight
"Shhh Vinnie. It's her loss ,she will realize you truly loved her and she messed up" I say
"It's ok cause I wanted to break up with her cause I caught feelings for another girl but it's not fair" he says
"It's not fair , she should have broken up with me before she slept with another men" he says starting to sob again
"I know Vinnie , I know , calm down please , what she did is wrong , and I cant even believe her but please calm down. I know it's hard , I totally understand how you are feeling and I'm so sorry. She didn't deserve you" I say trying to calm him down
Bullshit , I didn't even know what I was supposed to tell him
"Please stop crying. It's gonna be ok in the end , you'll find someone that will love you as much as you do , I'm sure about it" I say as he eventually calms a little bit , sniffles and hiccups being heard from him from time to time
"Why she even did that. What's her reason. It was so much easier to tell me she doesn't love me anymore than going and fucking another man" he says wiping some of his tears
" Why do I have to go through this again. Why" he says his voice cracking at the end
"Vin , poor you , I'm really so sorry for what happened " I say
"Try to focus on other things tho , such as ..." I say taking a break trying to figure out what I could say
"... the girl you like?" I say
"I don't know if she likes me back" he says calm
"How are you so sure?" I ask massaging his hand with my thumb and he shruggs
"Y/n please tell me that what I'm gonna tell you won't change our relationship. I don't want to make things awkward" he says
"Vinnie , it won't change our relationship , I promise" I say now being curious to what he will say
"The girl I fell in love with and the reason I wanted to break up with Nailea soon is you. I started to catch feelings and I'm sorry , I hope I'm not gonna ruin our friendship. I mean , I want to ruin it , I want to be more than friends but if you don't feel the same it's fine just tell me we remain friends" he says
"Vinnie I-" I say taken back
"I have feelings for you too but are you sure you want to jump for a relationship to another just like that?" I say and a small smile appears in the corner of his smile when he hears that I like him
" Yes , I have faith in you and I know you wouldn't cheat. Plus that I love you" he says
It's not really strange to say I love you since we are really close friends
"I love you too Vin , but I won't run away , don't rush" I say
"No please , I want you to be my girlfriend" he says
I lift his chin and I we look at each other
"And I want to be your girlfriend" I say and he smiles
I feel his plump lips on mine as I taste his salty tears that felt and connected with his lips
"Thank you Y/n" he says as I put my head on his shoulder
"No problem" I say as we wrap our hands around each other's bodies
"I really do love you , you are the only one that helped we with everything , and the only one I trust with my life" he says making butterflies erupt in my stomack and my heart melt
"I love you too Vinnie " I respond placing a small soft kiss on his neck
