My girlfriend , Y/n is a well known singer and she was invited to perform this night Right now we are in the backstage, when the presenter (or something idk?) calls her name "Good luck love" I say kissing her forehead "Love you" she says and then she goes on the stage
Everything was going good so far , her voice was angelic and she didn't mess up one word At a point I leaned to pick my coat that felt on the ground and while i was picking it I heard screams followed my 2 gun shots I fast check the stage to see people screaming and crying and my Y/n laying on the floor on her back I fast run to her to see someone shot her twice , her dress being now painted in red "Someone call 911" I shout while I was slightly slapping Y/n face "No this cant be happening, please tell me its a bad dream" I think to myself "Call 911" I tell the presenter that was near me and I watch how she takes her phone out of her pocket I check to see if Y/n's is still breathing and thanks god she still is breathing Soon we hear the ambulance siren and some doctors (are those even doctors ?) entering "Here" I tell them One of them checks her pulse "She's still breathing, but it's risky we have to go now" he says to the others that were coming with the gurney "Can I come please" I say grabing the doctor s hand "Who are you" he asks "Her boyfriend" I say and he nods We all rush to the ambulance and go inside I sit next to Y/n holding thight her hand that obviously couldn't hold mine back , while the doctors were putting her the oxigen mask and checking on her, doing their job My thumb was slightly massaging the back of her hand. I couldn't hear wjat was going on around me , I was focusing just on the sound of Y/n's heart beat that was made by that machine. My eyes were full of tears , it was so close to lose her , and yet it's not 100% safe for her until they remove the bullets I was bringed back to reality by the doctor tapping my shoulder "C'mon , we are at the hospital" he says as they open the doors I followed them until we reach the emergency room "You have to wait here , you cant be inside during the operation" he says and I nod I sit in the waiting room still not processing completely what just happened
I hear a door opening and I see the doctor coming out of the room I fast sit up from the chair going to him "We successfully removed the bullets and she's out of danger" he says with a small smile and I sigh in relief "Can I see her?" I ask "Yes , but be quiet , don't talk with her yet , she needs to rest right now , eventually wait till she will wake up , it won't take too long until she will be up" he says and I nod going past him entering slowly the room I sit on a chair next to the bed . I take her hand and I massage lightly the back of it , the sound of the machine that is registering her heart beats filling the room , making everything more creepy Later , I feel her fingers move in my hand and a smile appears in the corner of my mouth as she slowly opens her eyes squeezing them adjusting to the bright light "Oh , thanks god you're alright" I say sitting up from the chair leaning to kiss her forehead while one of my hands is caressing her cheek and the other one is holding thight her weak and small hand "Hey" she says "Hold on , I'm going to inform the doctor that you woke up" I say but she doesn't let my hand I turn back to her to see she wanted a kiss on her lips (like she had that face idk how to describe it 😙 ) so I peck her lips and then she finally let me go Some minutes later I enter the room with the doctor "How are you feeling ... wait I didn't catch your name" he says but before she can responds I answer for her "Y/n" "And you?" the doctor asks reffering to me "Vinnie" i say "Alright , how are you feeling Y/n" he asks "Well my body hurts" she responds "Ok , I'm gonna give you a pain killer" he says while inserting a syringe in the IV that was on her hand "She has to stay here for at least 1 week , we're gonna check on the surgery and see how it's evolving" the doctors inform me and I nod "You can stay with her " he says looking at me and then he turns looking at Y/n "But it's important to rest right now" and Y/n slightly nods He then leaves the room and I sit back on the chair "I was so scared baby , but I'm so happy you are ok " I say "I love you so much" I continue "I love you too" she responds sending me a weak smile and I smile too "Can you play with my hair please" she says and I nod with a grin I put my hand on her head caressing it carefully and playing with her soft hair Later snores escape her mouth signaling that she fell asleep. I lean on the seat back of the chair watching her pale face while she was sleeping like an angel
