Ok so I have this in my drafts or like 2 weeks and Im so sorry for managing to post it just now , I've been kinda drained of motivation but Im good now , thinking of vinnie brings me back motivation to write

Y/n's pov

Me and Vinnie are in the hotel room , there are some more hours before the fight will start
I belive in Vinnie but I'm scared . I'm really nervous , it doesn't really matter to me who will win ,I'll be proud of Vinnie no matter what but no one knows what it will happen in the ring. What if Vinnie gets injured?
Vinnie brings me back to reality by jumping on bed next to me
"Babe?" he says looking at me
"Mhm?" I respond looking at him with a small smile
"Did you hear what I said?" he asks me
"Oh sorry , I was day dreaming. What did you say" I say brushing my thumb on his cheek slowly
"Can you braid my hair?" he asks me and I nod with a big smile
I love braiding his hair
"Of course" I say
He stays on the floor and I stay on the bed so I can braid it easier
"What were you thinking about?" Vinnie asks me
"About the fight" I say and sigh
"I'm nervous , at this point I even think I'm more nervous than you" I say and let out a small giggle st the end
"Everything is gonna be ok , stop worrying" he says softly
"Im trying , but I can't. I don't know , what if something happens? What if you'll get injured?" I say while braiding his soft hair
"It won't happen anything" he says
"But what i-" I say but he cuts me of
"It won't baby , believe me" he continues
"But what if Vin?" I ask
"I'm gonna be fine ok? I'm gonna heal and thats it" he says and I sigh tying the braid I made
Vinnie puts his head on the bed behind him so his head is in between my legs and he looks at me
He hold out his hand and I put my hand in his
He kisses the back of my hand and smiles
"I love you" he says
"I love you too" I say pecking his lips and returning to his hair to make the other braid

"Done" I say and he stands up and goes to look in the mirror
"Yey" He says looking into the mirror
"Thank youuuuuu" he says kissing my lips

After 2 hours , we went to the stadium and went where the fighters are waiting (idk man) Vinnie told me that I'll be staying through the whole fight with liam and tyler ( his coaches) next to the ring , cause he needs me there

Through all the 6 fights that were before Vinnie's fight , he has been really nervous , his leg bouncing nonstop, him walking around the room from time to time and practicing his punches for the last time

Finally it was his turn
The song started as Vinnie was walking to the ring, tyler and liam behind him and then me , reggie , nate and maria
Vinnie went in the ring , Liam behind him and I go as well
"Good luck baby , I love you" I say kissing his forehead and he looks at me in awe
"I love you" he says returning me the kiss
I slap his chest and then leave the ring but I stay right next to it where Liam and Tyler will stay when the fight starts and unintentionally I start bouncing my leg
Liam goes and put the mouthguard in Vinnie's mouth  as Fousey 'calls' Deji into the ring

I swear I hate Fousey so much
Even if Deji has some more experience cause he has been in an actual fight before , I still am sure Vinnie will win. He has ben training everyday and I believe in him. He may be nervous but he'll win for sure. And back to Fousey , he's on Deji's side , I'm just waiting for his face when he'll see Vinnie will win
Yep , I'm sure my boyfriend is gonna win but yet im still nervous of him getting hurt
Tyler helps Vinnie take off his robe and I just glare at him. He has all the qualities. He knows to fight , he's handsome, smart , open minded , even packing.I couldn't wish for more. I don't know if he understands how much I love him and how grateful I am to have him
