Who is being so bloody loud

7th October 1973

It was the first Sunday of the month and also the first hogsmeade trip for the third years.

Peter had been talking about it non stop since school had started and james and sirius had told remus all about zonkos and honeydukes.

So naturally the morning of the hogsmeade trip the four boys woke up at 6 in the morning from excitement.

The boys all got dressed and did there teeth as fast as possible. As always Remus was the first to be ready then Peter then Sirius and finally James who had spent ages trying (and failing) to get his messy hair to stay flat.

The giddy boys raced down the stairs into the common room. Remus tripped up over his long legs and sent a lamp flying through the room.

"Who is being so bloody loud?!" Marlenes voice came in from the direction of the girls dormitory

Two angry looking girls came down from their dorm and glared at the boys.

"It was moonys fault" sirius said, the boys had started to call remus, moony in their second year after they found out he was a werewolf.

"Sorry" remus muttered with an apologetic glance at the girls and a small glare at sirius.

"Its fine i was awake anyways" lily sighed

"Well i wasn't and unlike some I need my beauty sleep!" Marlene huffed.

"Awww don't worry darling your already beautiful" mary said as she came down from the dorm.

"Now why is everyone screaming?" She yawned.

"Remus dropped a lamp, but it doesn't matter now come on lets go get ready" lily replied.

In the great hall Marlene was still glaring at the boys all throughout breakfast.

Remus gave her an apologetic look then went back to eating his toast.

Everyone in the room was excited to go to hogsmeade, except the first and seconds years who couldnt go but they would be happy to have the common rooms all to themselves.

"So" Alice began "where should we go first, in hogsmeade?" She asked

"Oooo we should go to honeydukes first" marlene replied.

"Sirius, sirius" james said

"Oh sorry what, I wasn't listening" Sirius replied

"Well obviously, I was saying I wanted to go visit the shrieking shack, I heard its supposed to be haunted" James replied

"Yeh ok" sirius said

"I dont really want to go to the shack" remus said looking at his hands.

Sirius looked up at Remus who had suddenly gone pale and seemed troubled.

"We don't have to go, james and pete can go to the shack and we can go to the three broomsticks and get butterbears" sirius offered

James and Peter nodded and remus smiled and before saying "yeh ok"

That smile, why was it so contagious?

The boys where walking down the path to the small town, sirius couldnt hide his excitement anymore and he was grinning like a fool.

They where going to honeydukes first then zonkos then sirius and remus would go to the three broom sticks while Peter and james went to the shreiking shack.

When the four boys finaly reached the village they where all giddy with excitement. They went straight to the brightly coloured sweet shop.

As they stepped inside it was warm and brightly coloured, and the air smelled sweet.

Remus went straight to the chocolate section, james to the 'special effects' sweets and peter went down the middle row lookong at everything in awe.

Sirius looked around for a bit before picking up some chocolate frogs, pumpkin pasties, levitating
Sherbet balls and a mix of different things for his brother Regulas as he was to young to go to hogsmeade himself.

After the four bous had spent around half an hour in the sweet shop and bought everything they wanted they headed to zonkos.

Zonkos was the craziest place sirius had ever been. It was brighter than honeydukes and filled with wizards. The four boys spent most of the money they had brought in there on stink bombs, sugar quills, nose bitting tea cups and anything else they could afford.

After an hour and a half in zonkos the four boys split in half, to go separate ways.

"Why didnt you want to go to the shreiking shack?" Sirius asked

Remus avoided looking at him and shrugged. It was obvious he didn't want to talk about it so Sirius decided to change the subject.

"We need to get back at snivellius some how" he stated

Remus nodded in agreement before saying "we could find a spell to change his robes and his tie to the gryffindor colors"

"Thats brilliant" sirius replied grinning.

They found a seat in the three broomsticks and ordered butter bears, still discussing how they could change snapes robes and what else they could do.

After a few hours of talking and drinking butter bear the two boys decide to go back up to the castle.

Also not much happened in this chapter so sorry if it wasnt that interesting, the next chapters are gonna be staring in fourth year so I'll make them more exciting.
