September 1st 1971

Sirius had walked away from his parents after saying his goodbyes. He wouldnt miss them, he never got on well with them anyway he was glad to be away from them. The only person he would miss was his younger brother Regulas.

He barged past a small kid who squeeked as he did. When he was on the train he made his way to the first empty carriage, he was there early so most of the cartridges where empty but he put his trunk in the head rack and sat down on the seat.

About half an hour later a boy with messy brown hair and circular glasses stuck his head around the door.
"Alright, if I sit hear" he pointed opposite where Sirius was sitting and sirius nodded watching as the boy put his trunk in the head rack and sat down.

"I'm James" the boy said "james potter"
"I'm sirius Black" sirius replied he knew his family resented the potters for being blood traitors they would be pissed of if sirius made a friend with one.

"So" james began "you have any older siblings that go to hogwarts"
"No" replied sirius "im the first, my brother will start next year"
James nodded and a red haided girl with teary eyes walked in followed by a boy with greasy black hair and a rather large nose.

"Is it alright if we join you" the girl snuffled

James nodded and the girl sat next to sirius and the boy next to james.
They sat in silence for abit untill sirius got bored and looked at the boy and said
"Ever heard of shampoo"

The boy glared at him and mumbled something to the red headed girl.
James grinned.

"You better be in slytherin so we can be together" the greasy haired boy said to the red haired girl.

"Slytherin" James spat in disgust.
"Who would want to be in slytherin?" He added

"If I was put in slytherin I would probably just go home wouldnt you?" He asked Sirius

Sirius shrugged "my whole familys been in slytherin" he replied

"Oh wow really" james said looking surprised
"And i thought you seemed alright"

Sirius grinned and replied "maybe ill break the tradition"

"What house do you want to be in then?" The greasy haired boy snarled.

"Gryffindor obviously" james stated as if everyone should know that.

The boy scoffed "typical cocky idiots, wanting to be big and strong instead of witty or smart"

"Where are you going then, seeing as your neither" sirius said to the boy
The boy glared at sirius.

Then the red haired girl stood up "come on let's find somewhere else to sit" she said to the boy and she took his hand and led the still glaring boy away.

The boy sirius had pushed past earlier and another boy with brown hair joined them. Sirius learned that the small twitchy boy was Peter and the other was Remus. The four boys got along quite well agreeing that gryffindor would be ther first choice if they got to pick a house.

James bought lots of sweets from the trolly lady and they used a rapper from one, rolled it into a ball and played catch with it.

The hours past very quickly and when the train was nearing hogsmead a pretty girl with slytherin uniform and blonde hair came up to the carridge.

"Sirius, hi" she said.

"Oh hi Narcissa" sirius replied,

Narcissa was his cousin, she and sirius got on when they where younger but Narcissa was like the rest of there family in that she didn't like anyone who wasn't a pure blood so the two cousins didn't talk unless they where forced to at family dinners.
