The Perseverers (DC X Male Reader)

#2 First Mission

As Supergirl and Clark were walking through the halls of the Watchtower, thoughts flooded her mind of who her teammates could possibly be.

'Oh maybe it'll be Artemis or even Zatanna! I heard that it'll start of with just three of us so I hope they're kind enough to be friends with straight away.' Hoped Kara as she started to jog up to her cousin and hum a cheery song. Her steps have a light hop to them as she followed the black haired male who lead her around the space station.

Clark:"You seem more excited than I expected." Clark glanced at the joyful girl who's eyes were as bright as stars.

Kara:"Why wouldn't I be? I finally get to be on a super team and meet new people." Spoke the blonde Kryptonian.

Her gaze shifted to the window that showed her the beauty of the planet she has grown to love. Earth was a spectacular sight from where she was as the sun rose over the horizon. A small smile crept onto her lips while staring at the wonderful view.

Clark:"Alright, here we are," exclaimed Clark which made Kara switch her eyesight to that of the double doors in front of them. As they walked through the metal doors, Kara saw the large table in the centre of the room which was surrounded by chairs for each member of the League. There were three monitors on the walls which would flash whenever an emergency came up. Across the right hand side of the room stood three heroes; one being the caped crusader himself, Batman; one being the amazing Amazon, Wonder Woman and finally the girl of wonder, Donna Troy.

Diana:"Nice of you to show." Stated Diana as she and the others turned to the Kryptonians. They strolled on over to the three and began conversation. As they all started their introductions, the two female sidekicks started a talk among them.

Donna:"Very nice to meet you, I'm Donna Troy aka Wonder Girl." Spoke the dark haired girl while shaking Kara's hand. "Wow, strong grip."

Kara:"You too. I'm Kara aka Supergirl. I can't believe we're gonna be working together on a team."

While everyone was speaking to each other, Diana brought up an interesting question to the Batman that everyone also wondered.

Diana:"Bruce, where is your partner, is he late?" Everyone gazed upon the Dark Knight while he kept the same mono expression on his face which hasn't changed the whole time.

Bruce:"He's here alright, been here the whole time. Come out Artibeus."

From somewhere above, another bat landed behind everyone which took each of them by suprise. Even Superman.

Clark:"Where was he?! Even I didn't see him and I have x-ray vision." Everyone was shook at first but then started to approach the guy. Especially Kara.

Kara:"Hey there, I'm Kara or Supergirl. Happy to be apart of a team with you." She stuck out her hand with enthusiasm. You stood there with your body encased under your cape with a look on your face that would make people think you're planning something.

Y/n:"Artibeus." You said in a monotone voice while shaking her hand plainly.

Kara:"Is that you're actual name?"she looked confused by your response.

Y/n:"Of course not. I don't trust you guys yet. I'll show you my identity when you have my full trust." You replied in the same monotone voice.

Bruce:"Artibeus it's ok, they know who I am."

Y/n:"That's because they earned your trust. They're going to have to earn mine."

Donna:"Well I'm Donna Troy, hopefully we get to know who you are soon. We are working on the same team after all." She had her arms crossed and leaned on one leg more than the other. Her dark brown eyes gazed at yours, so you looked to the Trinity.
