Blood sprayed onto your jumpsuit as the third prisoner you've punched, spits out some blood as well as a tooth. You deliver a kick into his stomach which sends him into the concrete wall. Another guy rushes you from behind and hits you on the back of your head with an elbow. You would've dodged this but the previous hallway of unconscious prisoners have left you weakened a bit.
You turn after the hit and grab his arm before snapping it and kicking his knee in. While he's on the floor in pain, you do one last kick to knock him out.

After all that fighting, you've cleared every hallway that blocks the infirmary to the emergency exit. You start to trod on back, limping, as you make your way to the locked door with Harley behind it. You bang on it a few times and state your name before you hear her unlock it and slowly open the large metal door.

She peeks her head out to see you standing there with blood staining your entire jumpsuit. A hand placed on your side as there is a large circle of blood, most likely yours. You put your other hand out in front of her and she takes it before you help her up to her feet.
You lead her down the maze of corridors, stepping over the many unconscious bodies before reaching the door labelled "exit".

Before you open it, a sniper shot is heard from outside and you both quickly dive onto your fronts. "Attention inmates. Anyone who attempts to exit the building will be apprehended or worse, shot." Exclaimed a commissioner from outside. You have a glance up to see many riot vans and news reporters surrounding the entire prison.

"Ok listen here, you're gonna place your hands out quickly before yelling to them who you are so they can stop any fire." You explain to Harley as she takes a look outside then back at you.
"But what about you? Come with me."
"I can't, I have to do my time or else I'm in worse trouble." You tell her before she nods and you fling the door wide open while she runs through it.

The door slams shut and you hear her muffled voice outside before you turn on your heels and make your way back to your cell before all the swat storm the building to detain everyone.

"Wow, I've missed this place." Exclaims Donna as she strolls through the empty main room of the base. Dawn follows behind her while they make their way over to the TV. "Where is everyone?" Donna asks, weary if Kara will cause something.

"Wally is still on the search for Elise, says he has a lead. Kara went on patrol in a nearby town and Kaldur used to train here all the time but hasn't been seen the last couple of days." Dawn explains while thinking about how the team has slowly drifted apart.

"Seems like we all need each other more now than ever." Donna says while feeling a hint of guilt build on her. She glances up and sees the big hole left in the wall from their fight which is now covered in all sorts of random rock and tape held together. "Sorry about that."
"Yeah Wally tried his best but he's no builder. Shame we don't know the pin to y/n's card." Dawn joked which caused a chuckle from the both of them.

"I've missed you Donna, we all have. Even Kara." This struck Donna. Deep down she realised that maybe she had been acting selfish and rude. All she wanted was to prove to y/n and everyone else that she could be the best and solve the case. But actually, she needed everyone. She couldn't do it alone.

Before they could say anything, the front door opened and in stepped through a bubbly blonde.
"Hey Dawn, just finished over in... what is she doing here?" Kara stopped herself as she looked upon the Amazon.
"Hi Kara, look I just want to say that I'm sorry. For everything." Donna pleaded while slowly walking up to her. Kara hesitated and took a step back before looking past Donna at Dawn. Dawn gave a comforting smile but Kara was still skeptical.

"Good to have you back." Kara responded in a very monotone voice before walking past Donna and to her room. There was still a distance between the two.
"That actually went a lot better than I anticipated." Said Donna who returned back to Dawn's side.
"Yeah, she actually spoke to you without throwing you through a wall."

The two walked into the computer room to discuss more about the recent occurrence of villains. This has got to be the largest amount seen at one, ever.

"It's hard keeping up with all this." Dawn stated as she leant forward on the computer. The monitors displayed how many have been captured compared to how many are currently wreaking havoc. Quite a large difference.
"We'll sort this out. All we have to do is try and get y/n back and then everyone will realise that there is justice." Donna spoke confidently but Dawn still wasn't fully convinced.

"The thing is though, who would be afraid of something if you knew it was just a rich kid dressing up." Donna sighed, Dawn had a point. Even if he did come back into action, it wouldn't have as big of an impact as before.

"We'll figure all that out later. Look, this data shows that there has been a huge spike of criminal activity since his imprisonment." Donna pointed to the graph shown on a monitor.
"That is true but it's not enough on its own to release him. We have to prove his innocence too. But what you said is a good start." Dawn admitted.

"Alright, I'll start with that then. Don't worry I'll fill you in on anything I find." Donna smirked as she strutted out the base and to her first stop. As soon as she left however, Wally came rushing back to Dawn while out of breath.
"I've searched and asked around and I've managed to narrow down her location." He stated as Dawn nodded before he grabbed the back of her head and they both zoomed off.

While everyone was out, Kara finally had time to relax around the base after many days straight of sorting out different cities and towns. She lounged on the couch while eating some ice cream before she turned the TV to the news channel. What she saw however shocked her.

The news reporter was covering the current reappearance of a figure. The footage shown a gang of criminals get beaten up in an alley by a mysterious bat person. The footage was paused and enhanced to reveal that the very person was none other than Artibeus.
