You awoke on a lazy day in your bed well rested. The sun escaped through the blinds of your room and blinded your eyes. You opened your eyes more and blocked them from the sun until you were used to the light. Sitting up slowly, you groaned while checking the time. It was early but not too early. You tried to get up but felt an arm at your waist keeping you bed-bound and unable to move.

"Five more minutes." Dawn spoke with her eyes closed and pulled you closer.
"Five more minutes then we get up ok." You replied and looked down at her, she was half awake and snuggled closer when you layed back down. You placed one arm behind your head and the other over Dawn.
You stayed like this until she yawned and looked up at you.

"Morning handsome. Did you have a good sleep."
"Definitely with you here." You replied as you both had a little peck on the lips. You looked into her dark eyes that made you feel as if you could get lost in just by looking in them. Her soft lips perked a bit to form a half smile that was directed to you. You moved some of her platinum hair out of her face so you could get a better look. She sat up as you got out of bed and walked over to the wardrobe.

"Want anything for breakfast?" You asked while placing a top over your head.
"You." She told herself.
"Huh, what was that?" You asked, unable to hear what she whispered.
"Uh, I said pancakes sound good."
"Pancakes it is. Don't stay in my bed too long, we don't want the others finding out."
"Promise to tell them later."
"I will when the time's right." You answered before heading out of your room and over to the kitchen to start breakfast.

As you were walking through the hallway, you bumped into Donna.
"Oh sorry Troy I'm still a bit tired. I was gonna do pancakes if you wanted any?"
"Only if there's ice cream to go with it."
"Of course, there'll be every topping you can imagine. Still don't understand why you like having ice cream with pancakes." You laughed.

"Hey have you seen Dawn, I knocked at her door but she wasn't answering. She's normally up by now." You sweat dropped a bit and tried to think of an excuse.
"She's probably still asleep or if not then maybe training? I don't know I haven't seen her sorry."
"Oh don't worry it's fine. I'll see you at breakfast." She replied before you both continued with your ways as you entered the kitchen.

You opened the fridge to grab most of the ingredients and scavenged the cupboards too. 'We need a grocery run soon.' you thought to yourself as you took the last of the flour. You grabbed one of the mixing bowls and started creating the cakes. Whisking the mixture while also checking if the stove is on the right heat level was challenging for your first time.

With the first one on the pan, you flipped it up and down while also keeping an eye on the rest of the mixture.

A while later, you served the first couple stacks of pancakes when suddenly Kara popped out of nowhere without a sound.
"Are those pancakes?!" She asked while pointing at the stacks.
"Yeah, help yourse-" Before you could even finish or turn around, she grabbed a plate and started to scoff them all down.
"Yo, wait for the others. Take it slow or you're gonna choke." You laughed at her. You continued to make more due to the fact Kara had swallowed down most of them before you can say 'pancake'.

The other two came into the kitchen and sat down at the island as you served up all the pancakes. They were each impressed by your cooking as they tasted amazing.
"Hey where's the ice cream?" Donna asked as she stood up and walked over to the freezer.
"I didn't forget, check the rolled up one." You stated which made her smile at the fact you did that for her.
"What about bacon?" Asked Kara with a mouth full of food.
"I'll put some on now. Did you two want bacon?" You asked as you turned to the pan.
"If you're cooking some, sure." Dawn replied as she took a bite of her pancake.
