TW- There is a very small scene here where Brinley throws up after finding out about Cedric's death. There is no description about this, but please proceed carefully, get some water and remember, it's just a story.

It's a while before much happens, the crowd only hearing occasional yells and bangs from the maze that disrupt the conversations happening.

But much more than a yell occurs ten minutes in. A loud, high-pitched scream I imagine is Fleur sounds around the pitch. Nervously, everyone stops talking, completely focused on the maze. Less than five minutes, Cedric yells as well.

Then, red sparks are flung into the air and teachers emerge with Krum ten minutes later. He's hurried away, dazed and stunned. He starts talking to the teachers in panic before he's out of sight. They rush back in and retrieve Fleur's unconscious body.

That's when everything goes to hell, teachers panicking as Bagman announces there's been a few issues. Harry, Cedric and the Cup are nowhere to be found and from my initial glance, it appears Krum had been possessed.

The applause that had just been rippling stopped.

"Diggory's dead!"

I let out a scream of horror along with Mrs Weasley. Everyone starts to cry or scream or panic. Amos Diggory runs across the field at a pace much too fast for a man his age.

Someone's dead.

"That's my boy, that's my boy!" Hermione and I break down crying, as everyone tries to get down.

Oh Merlin, I knew it, I knew this was going to be bad, oh god.

I don't look at Cedric's body, instead vomiting over the side of the stands. Trying to control myself, that's when I see Moody dragging Harry away. No, no that's not right. Dumbledore told him to stay. That's not... no.

I run from everyone, Hermione letting out a shout of surprise, but I know she quickly realises as she yells 'McGonagall, guys, we have to get her, and Dumbledore! Quickly!'.

By the time I'm down the stands and sprinting across the grounds, they're inside the castle. I curse, pushing my body as fast as it can go. This would've been so much easier if Quidditch had been ongoing, honestly, I'm so unfit now.

Eventually, I enter the castle, and I know they're already in Mad-Eye's office. Remembering the magic eye, I hang back. There's only two things I can do, and that's go straight in before he hurts Harry, or wait for the teachers. Looking out, I see they haven't even left the pitch yet.

Harry didn't make it this far to die. Cedric's already gone, there's no way.

Racking my brain, I know there's nothing Moody's eye can't see through, leaving just one option. I've got to play his game.

None of it quite makes sense - nobody could be so good of an actor that they could pull off what Moody's achieved through the years. Something very strange is happening, and I don't have all the facts. There's only one thing I know for sure, and that is that Harry isn't safe in that room.

I give it another two minutes but the teachers still haven't left the pitch.

Running up to his office, I do my best to look panicked and afraid - which isn't too difficult to fake. Cedric Diggory is dead and Harry's life is in danger.
