A week has passed since I have went back to work and it's been great. Colby has been so supportive of me going back which I really appreciated.

Today was his first day for physical therapy which happened to be at the hospital I worked at.

"Ready, baby?" I asked and grabbed my bag as he finished buckling his back brace. "This shit is gonna hurt isn't it?" He asked as I nodded. "Probably, but you're a tough guy. You can do this." I said then kissed him.

"Come on, you're gonna be late." He said then took my hands so I could help him up. I nodded, "Yep, you're correct. I'm gonna get you settled in though." I said then helped him down to the car.

"I don't want to go." He groaned as I got him in the car. "I know, but I can come visit while I'm on break." I said and winked at him before going over to the drivers side.

"Are you at least a little excited?" I asked and started driving to the hospital. "Kinda. I'm excited to not be rotting away in my room." He said as I nodded and took his hand.

"Yeah, I know it's been hard for you." I said and kept my eyes on the road. "I just can't wait until I can get back out there and see the world. This really gives me some time to reflect though." He said as I nodded.

"I'm proud of you for staying mostly positive during all of this." I said and squeezed his hand as I drove. "Life is too short to be negative." He said as I nodded. "You're right." I said with a small smile.

When we got to the hospital I got Colby out of the car and led him to the physical therapy office. I was upset that I couldn't stay for the appointment because I had to work but I was going to stop by whenever I had a second.

"Good luck, baby." I said then kissed him as the nurse came over to bring him back. "Have a good day at work, I love you." He said as I smiled. "I'll see you soon, I love you too." I said then went to go to the ER so I could get to work on time.

When I got to the locker room Peter was in there getting ready. "Hey!" He said with a smile. "Hey." I said then went to my locker.

"Ready for another great day of training?" He asked as I texted Sam that Colby got to his appointment. "Oh, Sophia didn't tell you? You're on your own today." I said as he blinked at me for a second.

"Oh...I guess that's okay. I'll miss having you by my side." He said as I laughed. "I'm always a page away." I said as my pager went off. "Speak of the devil. I'll see you later." I said then went off to go do my job.

I worked for the next few hours while Colby did his physical therapy. I had a little break in patients so I ran to that part of the hospital so I could see how he was doing.

"Hey, how's it going?" I asked as I poked my head into the room. "Babe! Look at this." Colby said then stood up without the brace. "Look at you." I said with a smile as his physical therapist helped him slowly sit on the bed.

"We're done for the day, but he did great." His therapist said as Colby smiled proudly at me. "I'm really proud of you, baby." I said then went over and gave him a kiss. "Do you mind if he hangs out in here? I have a couple more hours of work." I said to the therapist as he nodded.

"We have a room he can hang out in." He said as Peter paged me. "Oof, okay I have to go." I said then kissed Colby again. "I'll see you when I get off, I'm so proud of you." I said as he waved. "Love you." He said then blew me a kiss as I went to go back to work. "Love you too." I said then skipped out of the room.

I spent the next couple hours working, getting paged by Peter every half hour or so. I tried not to get annoyed because we was still new but I couldn't get anything done.

When I was done with my shift I went to the locker room to grab my stuff.

"So how's Colby doing?" Aisha asked as I put my jacket on. "He's doing a little better, he had his first physical therapy appointment today." I said and went to change my shoes so I could leave my work shoes here.

"That's great! You two are such a cute couple." She said as I giggled and stood up, putting my shoes in my locker. "I think so too." I said then turned around to see Peter standing there, causing me to jump.

"Shit! You scared me." I said then brought my hand to my chest. "Sorry. I was just wondering if maybe you wanted to grab some food with me later." He said as I hiked my bag onto my shoulder.

"Sorry, my boyfriend and I are going to dinner, he had his first physical therapy appointment today." I said as smiled slightly.

"Oh...well maybe we can hang out soon?" He asked as I nodded. "Yeah, maybe." I said then looked over at Aisha. "Bye girl, I'll see you Friday." I said as she grinned. "Enjoy your day off!" She said as I laughed. "Thanks, bye Peter." I said then left to go get Colby.

When I got there Colby was sitting on his phone, probably checking emails. "Hey, babe." I said causing him to look up with a smile. "Hey, ready to go?" He asked as I nodded.

"Where did you want to go to dinner? My treat." I said as he laughed. "You don't have to buy my dinner, V." He said as I nodded. "I know, but it's your first day on your feet. We should celebrate." I said then took his hand as we made our way to the car.

"Alright, you pick though." He said as I nodded. "Okay." I said then walked to the drivers side of the car.

I knew that Colby's favorite food was steak so I decided to take us to Outback. We sat down then ordered our drinks.

"So what did you do in therapy?" I asked and took his hand. "We walked with the brace for a little bit, then we took it off and did some stretches and walked around." He explained as we looked over the menu.

"That's great! Do you have to stretches when we get home?" I asked and twisted my rings. "Yeah, I'm not looking forward to it." He said as the waitress came over to take our order.

"Hey!! I love your videos!" She said as Colby laughed. "Thank you!" He said as she laughed. "Sorry, I didn't mean to fangirl. I just really like your videos." She said then breathed out a sigh.

"What can I get for you?" She asked then looked at Colby. "Uh I'll do the New York strip, medium, with a side of mashed potatoes." He said then looked up at me. "I'll do the same." I said with a smile. "Okay, it should be out soon." She said then walked away.

"That wasn't too painful." Colby said making me laugh. "Yeah, she was nice." I said then sighed. "How's the hate? Are people being horrible?" He asked as I shrugged. "It's bad but I can handle it." I said as he frowned slightly.

Sam and Colby released the camping video a week ago and it's been a little rough online. People were assuming that Colby and I were together which was valid but they were also being harsh.

I luckily was able to keep off of social media for the most part and didn't have to deal with it.

It still bothered me though.

"I know you can handle it, but it's still not cool." He said as I shrugged. "Honestly, it can be kinda funny. My favorite comment is that I forced you to go surfing so that's why your back is broken." I said as he laughed.

"Damn, why did you break my back, V?" He asked as I chuckled. "Sorry, man." I said and scrunched my nose at him.

We ate dinner then went back home. It had been a long day so we decided to just hang out and watch movies.

It was just a really good day.
