"If you could change one thing about your past what would it be?" I asked as we looked up at the cloudy sky. "Hmm...I don't know. I think everything that has ever happened has shaped me to be the person I am now." Colby explained as I rested my head on his shoulder.

"That's a good answer." I said quietly. "What about you?" He asked and pulled me closer. "I agree with you but I wish my parents didn't die." I said with a frown.

"Although I think if they were alive I wouldn't have met you." I said quietly then looked up at him. He sighed then kissed my forehead then nuzzled his chin on the top of my head.

"I'm glad we met." Colby said after a couple minutes. "I am too." I said as the wind picked up, causing us both to shiver.

"We should probably go back now." Colby said as I nodded and sat up. "I'm sorry the lights weren't out tonight." He said and took my hand as we made our way to the cabin.

"It's okay. Maybe they'll be out tomorrow." I said with a small smile and looked up at him. "That's my girl." He said then scrunched his nose at me.

When we got to the cabin we snuggled up on the couch for a while before going to bed. It had been a long day so we fell asleep almost instantly.

We woke up a couple hours later to dogs barking and howling. "Well that's a way to wake up." Colby groaned as I scrubbed my face with my hands. "I love dogs." I said simply then got out of bed.

"Can we take a nap when we get back to the other cabin?" I asked with a yawn as I stretched. "Yeah, I think that's a good idea." Colby said groggily then stood up.

We brushed our teeth with the one use tooth brushes that were in the bathroom then geared up to go outside.

When we got outside Lisbet was out there feeding the dogs. "Sorry if they woke you." She said with a laugh as I looked up at the sky. The sun was rising around us making the sky a beautiful pink and orange.

"It's alright, they're forgiven because they are cute." Colby said as I smiled. "They really are." I said then bent down and pet them. "We'll let them eat then we can gear them up and get back to the farm." Lisbet said and clapped her hands together.

So we did exactly that. Colby and I ate a small breakfast while the dogs ate then we got them harnessed up.

The journey back was even more beautiful than the way there because the sun was slowly rising. I actually took the time to look around me this time.

I could see myself moving somewhere like this because I thought it was the most beautiful place in the world. There was something so peaceful and magical about how silent it was.

There was nobody to ruin it.

"Thank you so much for everything." Colby said as he hugged Lisbet. "You're welcome! I'm so sorry you didn't see the lights." She said as I gave her a hug. "It's alright, we're gonna try again tonight." Colby said as I nodded.

"Make sure you check the weather before you go, clouds like this usually means a snow storm is on its way." She said as we nodded. "Thanks for the heads up. We'll see you the next time we're here." Colby said as she laughed. "See you then." She said then turned to go into the house.

"Ready?" Colby asked as I nodded. "I'm sleepy." I said as we walked to the car. "Yeah, I'm pretty excited to sleep." He said with a laugh as we got in the car.

"Do we have any other plans for the day?" I asked and pulled my phone out so I could look at the weather. "Hmm...I may have something up my sleeve." Colby said with a smirk.

"Oh, you're so annoying." I said then went to the radar and sighed. "It's gonna be cloudy and snowy tonight." I said then pouted my lip out. "Aw, baby..." Colby said as I shook my head. "It's alright...can we just get hot cocoa and watch Christmas movies?" I asked as he nodded.
