Into Unknown Territory

*Ive been on a roll with this fanfic lately! This is ADHD at its finest lol. I'll have writers block and struggle or I'll word vomit chapters like nothing*
*another edit here! I wrote this immediately after my last post for this fic along with a couple of others. I will publish all once I check over and make changes I see that need to be changed.*

Naruto scarcely remembered showering and getting dressed, he just grabbed Tora and headed to the kitchen. His family looked at him concerned when he didn't wish them a "good morning!" Like he usually does. He just moved on auto pilot making Tora breakfast. He placed the minced shrimp on the floor and poked at his poached eggs and steamed rice.
"What's wrong Naruto? You nervous for the chuunin exams?" Shizune asked him, concerned. He just nodded really not wanting to talk. Naruto left as soon as Tora was done barely eating a bite of his food.
"What's with him..." Tsunade questioned aloud.

Tora sat on the blind boy's shoulders, she hated the emotions she felt from him and even more so she couldn't cheer him up. Naruto's feet carried himself to the Academy not even paying attention to anything or anyone.
"Naruto?" The blonde's head snapped up hearing Sasuke's voice. Sakura felt a pit in her stomach thinking Naruto was hurting over her from yesterday.
"Hey..." Naruto lazily waved.
"Something wrong?" Sasuke feared the worst.
(Is he like this because of our kiss....) thought the raven haired boy.
"Just...sad..I got yelled at." Sighed Naruto leaving out details. Sasuke nodded and placed a hand on Naruto's elbow.
"Let's go inside." Sasuke whispered in his ear chuckling at his blush. As they made their way in they ran into another Konoha team.
"Fight Me!" Sounded a super charismatic voice.
"What?" Sasuke asked dumbfounded.
"You're one of the best of the best! So fight me!" Determinedly spoke a boy known as Rock Lee.
"Sorry but it's against the rules." Naruto spoke up grasping Lee's attention.
"It'll be quick!" Lee gave a thumbs up.
"No." Naruto's words stung everyone in the hall.
"Huh..." Lee furrowed his bushy brows.
"I won't take kindly if you get my team disqualified for your personal goals. You can wait until after." Damn Naruto sounded years older.
"H-hai! My deepest apologies!" Lee blushed at the intimidation the blonde gave off.
"Why are you here?" Spoke up another male voice.
Naruto raised a brow in question.
"You're blind. Your fate was decided long ago so why defy it." Smirked Neji.
"Because proving people, like you, wrong is very satisfying." Naruto left no hesitation clapping back instantly. Naruto grabbed Sakura and Sasuke completely ignoring the henged guards and walked up to the third floor. Shocked faces were still in the hallway they just left.
"Damn!" whistled Tenten, ignoring Neji's glare.

"Sasuke-kun!" Screamed a girl tackling the uchiha.
Naruto felt something unusual burn in his chest and he didn't like the feeling one bit.
"Get off him Ino-pig!" Shrieked Sakura trying to yank the girl off.
"Oh hey Forehead!" Nonchalantly greeted ino.
Naruto covered his mouth holding in his laugh.
(Forehead!!!!) mentally screamed Naruto, heavily amused. Sasuke managed to get the girl off him and pulled Naruto in between them like some wall.
"You guys really should be quiet you're attracting a lot of attention." Came a voice behind them.
All the genin besides Naruto and Sasuke paled at all the eyes on them.
"Hi my name is Kabuto!" Smiled a man with glasses and a low ponytail, silver like hair.
"You're kinda old to be here no?" Kiba asked glaring at the man.
"Well this is my seventh try!" Sheepishly smiled the man. (Wait what?!) everyone thought.
"Kabuto-san do you have any advice?" Sakura asked him, nervous.
"Well actually I have special chakra cards that can tell you anything you want to know about someone!" He offered pulling out said cards.
"Gaara no Sabaku and Neji Hyuuga." Cut in Sasuke with a glare.
"And Naruto Senju!" Blurted Sakura curious.
Naruto furrowed his brows at her quite annoyed.
"That's no fun you know their names! Gaara of the sand...wow he has multiple A rank and B rank missions as well as he's never been wounded in battle. He's the one tails Jinchuuriki and the son of the four Kazekage!" Kabuto informed while pulling another card.
"Neji Hyuuga, a branch member of the hyuuga clan. A few B ranks and C rank missions and a protege of his clans style." Sasuke glared harder at this, studying Kabuto.
"Finally Naruto Senju...oh he's the son of the late...." Kabuto was cut off as Sasuke snatched the card from his hands.
"How in the hell do you have so much information especially on a leaf ninja who didn't live here four months ago?!" Growled Sasuke ripping the card of Naruto's personal information. Naruto was stunned, Sasuke not only wasn't fooled but protected what secrets he had. (He's....really cool..) Naruto thought blushing. Before Sasuke could get his hands on Kabuto however a sound nin blasted Kabuto in the face with a strange sound ability making Kabuto's eyes and ears bleed.
