Even The Blind Can See

Trouble

Naruto's nose twitched at the smell of bleach and various medicines.
(am I....in the hospital?) naruto thought, feeling disoriented.
(Indeed, it's the medical section in the tower.) Kurama answered his question with a huff.
Naruto could hear breathing and to his side, as well as a weight on his stomach. He smiled and pet Tora, she just purred happily. Naruto tapped the metal bed rail and warmth filled his chest. Sasuke was sleeping and seemed he's been there a while. The blind teen began running his fingers through Sasuke's surprisingly soft hair.

Sasuke's eyes fluttered open, he looked at the center of his affections and was beyond relieved. He was awake and smiling a small smile at him... A smile that made his breath hitch. If only that dobe just knew how beautiful he was.
"How do you feel?" Sasuke asked entering protector mode.
"I feel good like I had a long nap!" naruto chuckled lighting up the room.
"You had me scared..." Sasuke gave him a pained look. Naruto frowned, understanding Sasuke was hurt from the tone of his voice. The blond dropped his hand from the raven hair and placed it in Sasuke's hand.
"I'm sorry... I was so worried about you and I didn't want to jeopardize the exam." Naruto told him honestly, blushing slightly.
"You need to tell me those kinds of things. We're a team remember?" Sasuke intertwined his fingers with Naruto's making the blond's blush deepen.
Naruto nodded, he understood, after all, he wouldn't like Sasuke not telling him if he was hurt or ill.
"Sasu-kun... I'm hungry." Naruto's face was completely red now and his stomach decided to make itself known.
"Come on." Sasuke smirked as he helped Naruto up. Once they freshened up in the bathroom they made their way to the cafeteria.

All eyes were on them much to Sasuke's annoyance. Little did they know they were holding hands...again.
No one didn't think anything of it however since Naruto is blind. Sakura on the other hand suspected it was much more. She waved at Sasuke and they headed to her table.
"Sit. I'll get the food." Sasuke sternly told Naruto not letting him have a choice. Naruto just nervously chuckled as he took a seat in front of Sakura.
"I'm so glad you're doing better! You had us panicked!" Sakura paled as she rubbed her aching legs, remembering all the running.
"I apologize... I didn't mean to cause trouble." the blind teen sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck.
"Just rest okay? I don't think Sasuke will let you out of his sight otherwise." her comment made him blush. When in the hell did she say stuff like that?!
"O-okay!" Naruto gulped feeling odd, almost like he's been caught, hand deep in the cookie jar.

"I brought you soup and steamed rice and vegetables. The Doctor said you need to eat light foods." Sasuke startled them as he placed the food in front of Naruto.
"Thanks..." Naruto blushed, he may not be able to see but he could feel Sakura's gaze on him. Before Sasuke sat next to Naruto he placed a bowl of food for Tora and began eating oyakodon. Feeling uncomfortable, Naruto began sipping his miso soup and taking bites of his rice with veggies.
Sakura had already eaten so she just sat there stealing glances now and then.
"What Sakura?" Sasuke sighed.
"Uh...well...um..." She began to mumble irritating him.
"Just say it!" He grew a tick mark. Naruto paled hearing this extremely awkward situation.
"I just wanted to ask...do you have a crush on someone?" her face turned red in embarrassment.
(CHE! Really Sakura? That's what you come up with!) Sakura groaned in her head.
"And if I do?" Sasuke's brows furrowed, still eating. Hearing this Naruto turned to him in question.
"Um...who?" Sakura wanted to smack herself, dumb words kept coming out her mouth when she wanted it to stop.
"That's none of your business." Sasuke chose this moment to drink water, effectively cutting her eyesight from his eyes as he looked at Naruto.
Sakura looked down sadly but bounced back quickly as a mischievous look graced her features.

"Well since you won't answer I'll ask Naruto instead! Do you have a crush? Who?" Sakura evilly smiled once she saw Naruto blush and Sasuke glared at her.
Don't get her wrong here... She just wants to see if they were having something going on...right?
