Chapter 7

Newts POV

I wake early since Y/N is going into the maze today. I wish she would just wait and not rush. But it is her decision and if it helps clear her mind I guess that's ok. I smiled when I felt Y/N roll over. So she was now laying on my chest.I couldn't help but look at how cute she looks.
"Good morning" she said rubbing her eyes. I could get use to this.
"Good morning love, you sleep ok?" I replied, she sat up only in her bra and shorts. She got out of bed as she walked over to grab my hoodie I let her wear. I grinned remembering what happened last night. She chuckled because she saw me grinning.
"Oh shut it" she said throwing my shirt at me. Making me smile even more.
"I'm going to my hut to get changed I'll meet you at the door?" She said walking over to the door.
"Yes but on one condition" I said smirking.
"And what would the be" she said walking over to me.
"Kiss me" I said grinning. Her eyes widened and then our lips connected, my hand cupped her cheek as I kissed her harder.
"I have to go" to said pulling away and pouting. "We'll finish this when I get back okay"she winked and left me with those words, they ran circles through my mind. I got up and changed. I put on a white top with my brown baggy jeans like always. I put on my shoes and headed towards Fry's.

When I walked in Y/N was already there putting her lunch in her bag. Damn she's fast I thought to myself. She turned around and smiled when she saw me. She said bye to Fry like she did everyday and walked past me grabbing my hand, leading me outside of Fry's hut and towards the door. I leaned her against them and kissed her lips, I put my hands around her hips as I pulled her closer to me her hands running through my hair and tugging at it, making me quietly moan in her mouth so only she could hear. She smiled as I pressed my lips harder on her as I knew I had to let her go soon. I bit her lip whilst I pulled away, causing her to moan quietly.I smirked.
"Y/N I need to tell you something" she looked at me wanting me to continue. "I-

"Eh..hemm" I heard a someone clear their throat. I sighed and she giggled. I turned around and saw Minho and Ben.
"Y/N Ben is coming with us today if that's ok?"
"Yeah sure" she said still in my grasp. I put my hand on her cheek and kisses her lips once more before the doors started to open and I had to let her go. "Be safe?" I asked her.
"Always" she smiled and pecked my lips before running into to maze and playfully pushing Minho and laughing. Then she was gone.

Y/N POV

I ran into the maze laughing because Minho was teasing me about Newt.
"So Newt huh?" Ben said as we turned the corner. I chuckled.
"Yeah so what?" I said smiling.
"It's cute, you two look good together" Minho pipes in from the left side of me. I giggled at the thought of Newt. We did what we normally do when we run the maze,we ran for a few hours taking notes and maping the maze.
"Lunch?" Ben said out of breath. Minho and I both nodded. We stopped and slid down the cold stone wall. I pulled my backpack off me and took out my sandwich, the boys already digging into there's. I smirked at they both sat cross from me.

We all finished our lunch and decided to not split up. Which I didn't want to but I understood that they wanted to protect me just in case the greenie survived the night. We ran for a few more hour. I looked at my watch and it was 4:45pm. I stoped. Then the guys did.
"We should head back guys" I said in one breath gasping for air after. Minho chuckled then looked at his watch.
"Yeah we should it's getting late" we all agreed and took a few more breaths before running. We wasn't to far from the Glade when we turned one of the corners, a Griever was stood right in front of us. It seemed to know we was there because it turned around and jumped up and down making the ground shake. I steadied my balance so I didn't fall, then It shrieked and came running right for us.
"Guy we gotta run" I shouted as I sprinted in the direction towards the Glade. I looked back and saw that Ben was falling behind so I slowed down.
"What- what are you doing!?" He said between breaths.
"Helping you, N- now come on" I said grabbing his arm and running faster.
"I c- can't" Ben said.
"MINHO!" I shouted. He looked back his face in shock as he saw how close the Griever was to Ben and I.
"WE NEED A DISTRACTION" I shouted. I had an idea but I didn't know if it would work. Minho slows down so we we're all running at the same pace.
"DO YOU TRUST ME" I shouted to Minho.
"YEAH" he replied
"JUST KEEP RUNNING WHAT EVER YOU DO!"I smiled and ran a different way to where Minho and Ben were going. I had a plan but I knew it would only work if one of us was here overnight. And nobody has survived a night in the maze. I would do anything to protect Minho and Ben. Even if I means risking my own life.
