IV

Cora's Pov

As the man who confronted me in the parking lot drove off, I stood there's for a few more minutes until a familiar voice called out from behind me. "Who was that guy Cora-chan?" Looking over my shoulder I could see (Y/n) was trying to hold up a drunk Yuki while also holding a takeout bag. "I don't know but he knew my name... Though there's a small part of me that wants to say I know him. Are those my onion rings?"

"Yes, we should get going. Star is probably worried sick about us" (Y/n) did make a good point and it was already getting close to midnight. "You two can ride in the back since it's more comfortable to sleep in. Come on Star said we could roast marshmallows together but at this rate there going to be all gone before we get there"

"Hehehe. Coming Cora-chan"

Sometime Later...

Doflamingo's Pov

"There they are~ Fufufu. Cheer up Law, you look like a sad puppy and it's starting to annoy me" We all gathered a short distance away from the cabin on top of a hill but thankfully no one would be able to see us from down below. "Look Law it's your little Human~" I was just trying to tease him a little bit to cheer him up though based on the man's stare he wasn't having it. "Shut up Doflamingo-ya also don't even look at Cora-ya! She's mine and no one's ever going to take her away from me again" 

As the young girl turned to face the hill, I had to pull Law down to keep him from being seen. "Shhhh~ You got her attention. Stay low" I knew Law was very overprotective of this girl but he needed to learn to calm down when someone talked about her. "I'm sorry Doflamingo-ya... It's getting close to midnight but only those two girls in the back are asleep. What are we going to do if the rest of them don't go to bed soon?"

"Everything will work out fine Law~ Though even if we have to take them while they're still awake it's not like anyone will hear them scream... Katakuri where's your little sister?" We each had a special talent and Katakuri's sister happened to be very good with putting little humans to sleep. "She's busy tonight. Hawkins is there a chance any of the girls will escape being captured?"

"There's only a two percent chance of failure tonight" Those were good odds to me and as long as I walked away with (Y/n) then I would remain happy. "Good~ Fufufu. Once I give the signal, we'll move in but we'll give them time to settle in. Does everyone understand?"

Hope's Pov

"Is something wrong Hope? You've been acting strange all day" As I turned to look at Star, I could see she was drinking some hot chocolate as she looked at me with concern. "Something terrible is going to happen tonight but I can't tell what it is... I'm not going to sleep until the threat has passed. What's taking the others so long? They have been sitting outside for five whole minutes now. I'm going to see if they need any help" As I stepped outside of the cabin, I could see Cora was looking at the hill but she turned away as I walked up behind her.

"What are you looking at Cora-chan?" The girl did jump a little bit though calm downed when she realized it was only me. "It might have been a bird... Can you help me carry the drunks inside? They both fell asleep on the way here" Taking a peek through the window I could see the two drunks were drooling on each other. "Star get your butt out here! The morons are sleeping and we need to lug their fat behinds inside!"

"Hm, how much did they drink Cora-chan?" As Star joined our small group outside, we slowly started to drag (Y/n) into the house before we returned for Yuki. "I'll kill you a..." I swear this girl did the strangest things while under the influence of alcohol but we all had to deal with her craziness since we loved her. "Crazy drunk Yuki should be watched tonight just encase she vomits in her sleep. Any volunteers? I'm staying up but watching this girl isn't my favorite nightly activity"

"I'll do it Hope and but if I start to doze off you can take over" As I accepted Star's proposal we moved Yuki onto the spare couch before moving back to inspect our work. "I'm going back to my room. Maybe my tarot cards can give me a clearer reading if I burn some sage and meditate first" Picking up the cards in question I headed back to my room though when something disturbed the moonlight that shown through the hallway window I paused.

"What was that?... Maybe I should check it out" Without alerting anyone else in the house to my plans I unlocked the back door before I took a step outside. At first, I didn't see anything but I swear there was something just at the edge of the tree line. "Hello, is someone there?" I wasn't wearing any shoes at the moment so very carefully I began to walk closer trying to avoid anything sharp as I did.

As I stood at the edge of the tree line, I noticed the thing I was looking at was only a tree thankfully. Though as someone placed their hand over my mouth I froze. "Don't scream my darling~ I'm not going to hurt you but we need to leave" As this man picked me up, I had zero time to react before we were suddenly standing at the top of the hill overlooking the small cabin below. "I'm taking my leave now I trust you simpletons can handle retrieving the others"

"Hawkins you bastard! You were supposed to follow the plan. What's going to happen if the others realize she's gone?" Who the hell were these people and what were they planning on doing with us? "Hmmm" I had started fighting against the man holding me but his grip was as strong as iron. "Calm down Hope your safe with me. I promise to explain everything once we arrive at our home" When the man moved once again, I found myself be carried towards an awaiting car where a few other men were standing.

Though they didn't say a word as they held the door open for the man to climb in before he settled into his seat while I sat on his lap. "Hope, I'm going to remove my hand but you're not allowed to scream. Do you understand what I'm telling you?" I carefully nodded my head though I didn't keep my word since as soon as he let go, I let out a blood-curdling scream that caused him to place his hand back onto my mouth. "I know you're afraid but you don't have to be. We both love each and even if you don't remember now, in due time your memories will be restored. That I promise you"

What was this man saying? I never meant this guy once in my whole life but as my eyes looked into his something felt familiar. "Hmm" There was no point trying to scream again since it would only result in him covering my mouth so when he removed his hand this time my reaction was different. "Just who are you exactly?"

"I'm Basil Hawkins" That didn't sound like a modern name though as I stared at him more, I noticed something strange about his teeth. "C-Can you smile for me?" Yes, it was an odd request but I wanted to know what was in his mouth that had caught my attention. "No, though to answer your question Hope you're staring at my fangs" Oh, that made sense... Wait a second that didn't make sense unless he was a... "Are you a Vampire!? Please don't eat me! I'm too young to die!"

"You are my partner Hope and even if your Human I'm not going to end your life. We'll arrive home within an hour. I have noticed that you've taken up reading tarot cards and you're quite good at predicting danger"

"Oh, so you're a stalker as well?... What exactly did you mean by I may not have my memories?" Somehow, I was more interested in this guy than afraid of him but maybe that was just the shock of the situation. "Your memories were repressed after the festival. I had been working on an elixir to restore them but unfortunately, the elixir remains incomplete"

"Hm, tell me more about this festival Hawkins"
