Cora's Pov

It had been a while since I arrived at the vampire's castle but the man in question wasn't here yet and I was starting to get bored. "When is Law supposed to be coming back?" A guard sitting by the door looked up when I spoke. Well, I called him a guard since he's being there for a while and didn't talk much. "Before sunrise Cora-chan. Would you care for another snack?" He was also acting as my personal servant constantly bringing me what I requested, but any food requests at the moment could wait. "No, thanks. Am I allowed to leave and wander around the castle?"

"The Master requested you remain in his room but if that's what you desire, I suppose we'll escort you. Would you like your shoes?" Those wouldn't be necessary and I didn't even know where they went. I knew they had been on my feet at one point... Oh, I had thrown them at Law. They must still be in his car. "No, I'll be okay without them" I would have started towards the door but the guard must not have liked my idea to go without shoes since he stopped me. "Cora-chan please at least put on a pair of socks. The Master will be furious if he discovers you're walking around the castle without any protection"

"Where are the socks kept?" I hadn't had that much time to look around the room since I was busy staring at the coffin Law must have used to sleep in. He was a vampire so it had made sense for it to be here but there was no way I'd be sleeping in such a thing. "I assume they would be kept in the dresser but I will allow you to locate them while I wait in the hall" He had left the room in a hurry though I could have sworn his cheeks were slightly pink.

"Okay... I wonder how everyone else is doing?"

Kidd's Pov

"Kidd, the property has been secured just as you requested. Shall we leave you alone for the rest of the night?" I did want my alone time with Yuki but apparently, someone had other plans for the evening. "You could always join us for the movie Killer" She was always pulling shunts like this however I loved this girl too much to get mad at her. "Yuki he's not allowed to stay" If Yuki truly wanted the man to join us then she would have put up more of a fight than this. "Sorry Killer but Kidd is being a prick. Maybe next time"

She had always been such a tease and yet it was one of the many things I loved about her. "I'll return tomorrow night to retrieve the both of you. Enjoy your time together" The sun would be rising any time now but that was fine since I knew the curtains were already shut. My skin could take the sunlight although too much exposure would make me ill and right now, I couldn't have that. "Will do and don't forget the flowers for Jinx!"

"Right. Thank you, Yuki" Hurry up and get the hell out of my house. "No problem" As Killer turned on his heels I watched as he disappeared but waited until the front door slammed shut before I made my move. "Ah, no Kidd I'm trying to watch the movie" She was the stubborn type though this night had been in the works for a while. I wasn't the most romantic male but I even cooked her a home-cooked meal just to put her in a good mood. "What!? Yuki, I spent weeks planning this and you're going to deny me?"

"Yes. Go back to watching the movie I spent two whole minutes picking it out" As if to add salt to the wound she started to eat her popcorn almost like she hadn't just shot me down. "You're evil" Yuki was someone who didn't care much about what I called her but as she turned, I saw a grin settle into place before she replied. "And you're a liar" I never said I was an honest man however there had to be more to her statement. "How so?"

"You're quite the little actor but I don't see why you didn't tell the others that I remember the events of the night as clear as day. I mean it took some time although wasn't that detail worth sharing?" That was an easy question to answer and I didn't hesitate to explain to her exactly why I kept my mouth shut. "They would only be jealous. Although if Doflamingo knew a head injury could trigger the memories to resurface he would spend all day driving that bitches head into a wall"
