Law's Pov

"You're free to leave Law" I would have left her alone but at the moment I didn't feel comfortable since the girl could easily wander off minutes after. Cora was a rather childish girl and for that fact, she required a lot more attention than your typical human. "No, I need to make sure you eat properly" She hadn't even looked up from her plate although someone else was feeling brave today. "She's right Law. You can get the hell out of here. This is breakfast time for the humans not for freaks like you"

"Sara, don't piss him off! Your husband isn't even her- Oh my good morning, Melody! How was your night?" Upon hearing that name my eyes shifted towards the door before locking eyes with the girl. She didn't look very rested but that was neither here nor there. "Don't speak to her! You know the rules... I'm not dealing with him today" I couldn't be sure when that rule was put in place although I didn't care what these humans chose to do within their lives. "Hello, Mel-ya"

She had already been walking in my direction but her attention had shifted to little Cora who had decided Melody was more interesting than that of her breakfast. "Who's that Law?" Melody was taking her time walking over so I used the opportunity to answer her. "My sister-in-law. Sweet girl but she hasn't spoken in years" Cora was aware of my relation to Doflamingo so it was no surprise that she raised an eyebrow. "Isn't Doflamingo marrying (Y/n)?"

"I had another brother who unfortunately was murdered this was his wife" It was painful to admit but at least it caused the little one to give me a slight hug on the arm before she returned to the plate in front of her. "Oh, I'm sorry... Do you think she would like a friend?" Melody was a kind one however no one in this house usual spoke with her unless you were to count the servants. "It's hard to say"

"Excuse me Melody would you like to sit with us?" I had become distracted but when I heard that loud chewing my eyes shifted back to my partner. "Cora-ya put that piece of toast down!" She was within my reach and I could have easily taken it away however this girl had a bad biting habit. It most likely wouldn't cause me harm other than causing her to break down into tears. "It's mine!" My plan was to reason with her but I was stopped when Melody tapped my shoulder. 'Her name is Cora?'

"Yes, that is her name. Here take a seat Mel-ya. What are you going to eat today?" I needed to pay attention to her signing although quickly nodded my head at her request. 'I want toast as well' Melody's requests were always approved and since this was one of the only foods, she ate I made sure to fill up her plate before placing it before her. "Of course. There you go" With Melody now sitting beside me I turned to have a conversation with her. 'Don't look so upset Law' I could see why she had said that but dealing with Cora was a difficult task. "I'm not upset"

She must have chosen to ignore it since she asked something else that surprised me. 'Where is Doflamingo? I need to ask him a question' He should be here as well and true to the fact someone's scream drew the attention of everyone in the room. "Get your hand off my ass!" The pair was looking for a seat but when Doflamingo noticed Melody he paused. "Fufufu. Sorry, I didn't realize... Oh, Melody, it's a rare sight to see you. What brings you here? Here (Y/n) sit right here and help yourself"

'I need to speak with you'

"What did she say Law?" Doflamingo never got the hang of sighing not that he cared enough to pick up the ability. He needed to rely on me or someone else to communicate with Melody if she didn't have a notebook on her. "She has business to discuss with you" I wasn't sure what it could have been but if it was important enough, I'm sure I'd hear about it later. "Sure, I got time. Law, watch (Y/n) and don't let her leave" I didn't have the time to watch two humans and not when mine was difficult enough. "She's not my problem. I already have Cora-ya to deal with"
