Cora's Pov

"Cora-chan where exactly are you going at this hour? You should really be in bed sleeping it's already late and I know how you get when you're tired" As I turned back to face Star, I could see she was writing on some paper with a cup of coffee nearby though I didn't have time to deal with her at the moment.

"I'm going for a walk I'll be back within 30 minutes. If I'm not back by then assume that I've been either eaten or kidnapped" Star knew better than to upset me though I knew from the look in her eyes that she wanted to say something else but didn't. "Cora-chan will you at least wear a jacket? That onesie you're in doesn't look very warm to me"

"Yes, mom I'll wear my coat. I'll be back soon so don't miss me too much!" Sure, my choice of outfit wasn't exactly the most practical but I didn't feel like changing into anything else. "Alright have fun Cora-chan" Normally I wouldn't venture out of the house past dark though there was just something that was bothering me about that hill a few yards away from the cabin. "Okay, bye Star have fun watching the drunks" Before the girl could say another word, I had already left the cabin and started going through the woods so I could find a way up onto the hill.

I wasn't sure if this was my smartest idea but at least I'd know for sure if there was anyone camped out up there. Though if I did run into trouble my scream could sound like a banshee at times so Star should be able to hear that I was in danger or not. "Fufufu. That bastard Hawkins really is beginning to tick me off. I wouldn't have thought he'd be the type to go against the plan but oh well" As I got closer to the clearing on top of the hill, I could make out a few male's voices though I hid behind a tree so they couldn't see me.

"Wait a second that's the creep from the diner. What's he doing here?" When the man in question turned towards my hiding place, I tried to act invisible but when he stood up, I knew he had seen me. I needed to get back to the cabin and warn Star though before I could even turn around someone's hand covered my mouth. "Cora-ya you shouldn't be up here my dear~ I've missed you so much"

"Hmmmmm!" With the man's hand firmly held against my mouth I couldn't cry out for help but when he turned me around, I realized it was the person who was just sitting on a rock at least 20 feet away. It would have been nearly impossible for him to move over here in such a short amount of time. "Awe, it's alright Cora-ya there's no need to cry~ I'm glad you came to me since now we can leave early and I even brought you some snacks to eat on the way home"

I could only shake my head as I was lifted up into his arms but as he walked past three other men the one without any eyebrows growled at me causing me to grip onto my captor's neck. "Oi Kidd-ya don't growl at Cora-ya!... Shhhh~ It's okay my little one let's go before you catch a cold. I'll ensure my men retrieve your medications as well as any other personal effects you deem valuable"

By the time he had moved again, I found myself in a completely different location than we were previously but I didn't understand it. "Penguin-ya ensure Cora-ya's items are retrieved and watch the others. Their bound to do something foolish if left unattended. Cora-ya where would you like to sit?" When the kidnapper removed his hand from my mouth, I stared up at him but I still had no idea who he was. "I want to go home! Put me down! Ahhhhhhh!"

"Screaming isn't going to do you any good Cora-ya... Aren't you curious about who I am?" When the man placed me into the back of his car I backed away to the other side of the seats and tried to open the door from there but he must have put the child lock on since it won't open. "It's me Law from the Festive of Lights we were happy that night but unfortunately those damn Hunters wiped your memories. I'll explain anything on the way home just please calm down. Your friend Hope is already being transported to the castle and if your good I'll allow you to see her once we arrive"
